Thank you! This is a start! If your valves are intake ,the exhaust could be smaller in head diameter! Maybe I can find the spec's on that exhaust valve. Then I need to find 8 to alter. Gary/Ohio

You are on the same page as I as to what I intend to do.I it's a matter finding a valve # that is 5.00" + with a .3125 stem diameter. Someone has a printed listing or has bought valves for their car that has dimensions close to what I am looking for. Gary

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY, I HAVE CONTACTED THEM. YES THEY WOULD HAVE TO MAKE THEM. YET I KNOW THAT THERE ARE VALVES OUT THERE WAITING TO BE PUT TO USE THAT I CAN ALTER FOR MY NEEDS IF I CAN COME UP WITH SOME DIMENSIONS. I HAVE MY LATHE AND GRINDERS TO ALTER. GARY

I need a valve with a 1.1875 head and a minimum of 5.00 in length. Can someone give me the sizes and part number s that might help? also where would I find them? Thank you,Gary

Ah yes! That was yesterday without the good fortune that you had. They tried to no avail and even gave me a few obsolete books that they don't use anymore. I found a melling valve dim. Chart on line and the only thing that came near it was discontinued. Gary

The valves are 1.1875 head with a 45 degree angle.the stem is .3105 dia.with a over all length of 5.00" .looking in an old motors manual I found that flathead pontiacs as well as studibakers have the stem diameters I need. Google I did.I was looking on line about the auction I found my project .then I googled more to find information about my find. I also found many helpful Saxon owners happy to see another survivor coming out of hibernation . I must say the car is almost rustless .The exception is a pair of rims ,which I have ordered and will pickup at a motorcycle meet in Wauseon ,Ohio this Friday. Thank you for your interest! Gary -

I just purchased a 1914 Saxon. It is quite complete and in good condition .However it is missing the parts of the dash panel .This is the first model and I can't find even a picture of this area to have a clue! There must be a hand throttle and spark control as well as some timer with switch. It has the continental 4 cylinder engine that I also can!t find information on. There is a right angle drive that has crumbled away .Where do I find one? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you,Gary ,Concord,Ohio 440-639-0858
