  3. Looks like kubota uses black rtv for gaskets ,same as newer John Deeres if you get good at this type of repair I've got a full size Deere you can work on. Al
  4. So spring is in the air down south, here in central NY snow is still about 8 inches deep and temp may get to 40 today. I have started the corvair ,gardner and 29 chevy the 53 is in storage about 3 miles away but haven't driven any yet. the snow mobil still works good at this time. Al
  5. does the motor have two large capacitors mounted on top? if it does you have a start switch inside that needs cleaning or replacing. Could have just one capacitor Al

  7. You are correct it is a valve seat reservicer, it has adapters that hold the valve by the slot or dimple in the valve head and rotate as you stated using grinding compound.

  9. You are running on only battery power. The amp meter can not react that quickly to show points opening and closing with the engine running . Al

  14. Try putting air pressure on the fuel tank through the fill pipe, use a rag and a blow gun this way you will not over pressure the tank. Too suck with a compressor use a blow gun held at about a 45 degree angle to the fuel pipe and blow across the the pipe away from the pipe. Al

    steering stablizer

    This is an old style two long dubble over springs that go on the tie rod one left one right center bracket on axle, can't figure out how to install.
