yeah, i am in the same boat. the roof is gone except for one template on passenger side. hopefully the wood on the sides is good enough for a template. i will probably will have to do some from scratch also.yes i would like to see what you are willing to share and thanks for the offer. carl.

the serial # on the frame is D2198xx and the engine block # is U825xx.

you didnt by chance keep the templates. the wood in my cab is mostly gone but there is a couple of pieces still left. is the parts donor a pickup or screenside?

yeah any specifics. that was the good side. the other side front wheel wood spokes are broke. the running board is alot rougher.

hey george, my name is carl. my 29 truck which is a 3/4 or 1ton has a carter r x o carburator on it. its rough because someone had it off before me and let it set in the weather and rust up. hope that helps.

hey thanks for the info guys. i found a site that like you said was a vage generalization of my serial # falling in between 1929 to 32. i also found only two trucks in this catagory had a 4 cylinder motor stock. the 3/4 ton and 1 ton. my truck is not complete. it is reasonably rough. my decision now is what to do next. i wil try and post some pics to show what i am talking about. and agian thanks for the info you all have shared.

i found the serial #. now how do i decode it? thanks for the information, i ve been looking all over for some kind of identification.

thats seems like a 4 speed option only? i am still trying to figure out what i have. i dont realy see wood spoke rims on a heavy duty truck. it looks like a regular long wheel base truck with the four cyliner motor and 4 speed trany. any more info avalible?

besides the number on the engine, i have not found a identification tag on the truck. is there a vin number on the frame some where?

i have recently aquired a so called 1929 dodge brothers truck. i dont know much about these and was wondering if anybody could hep with identification. it has wood spoke wheels. silver dome 4 cylinder engine. has the little window behind the doors. it has the chrome radiator suround. the rear axel looks big to be a half ton. no bed. any help would be appreciated.

hey i just purchased a 1929 db truck. it had wooden spoke wheels. it also has a thumb lock deal on the shifter. besides the silver dome engine # where on the frame is identification #s. trying to determine if it is a 3/4 ton or 1/2 ton , the rear axle looks a little big to be a half ton. any help would be appreciated.
