  1. Got you message. I work out of town, so when I get back I have to look at the car to tell you what's still in good shape. For instance, the molding over the front dash is present but not worth salvaging. Really rusted. Sorry for the delays, I just don't get to spend a great deal of time at home. Also, the car is at my cousins place due to me not having enough room at my house. Mark
  2. Haha. I finally had a chance to take some leave. The Army life is great, however, never enough time for my toys. Got my frame out of the powder coating shop, came out splendid. Now I'm in a quandary on what to do about the bolts. I purchased some new grade 5 bolts but I don't like the look of them. I want to use the old bolts since they are original. I just don't know if I should have the old bolts zinc coated or a darker coat similar to a gun. I have no idea how they looked when they were original. Do you by chance have any idea how they came factory? Cheers
  3. That's good to know. I will likely send mine in soon. Thanks for commenting on their work.
  4. Had some email correspondence with Apple Hydraulics (thanks Keiser31 for the POC) and they will rebuild them for $195 each, you have to send in your core to have it rebuilt since they do not have any in hand. They also offer a two year warranty for their work. I will let you know how they turn out. Cheers
  5. I have to look thru all the posts on this thread, I will go thru them and see who has asked for what. I have received a few messages I have yet to open as well.
  6. Ok...I made it out to the old 34 today for some pics, hopefully they are descent enough for anyone that was asking questions about parts available. Let me know if anyone has any further questions. Cheers
  7. Thank you. I am trying to find out if the shaft can be pressed out and the seals replaced inside. The piston system inside looks well off with no apparent wear.
  8. Does anyone know if these can be rebuilt? I haven't taken the caps off to see what's in the inside. I blasted them with aluminum oxide to get a better look and noticed they leak. Thanks, Mark
  9. All...My apologies for falling off the net. I have been traveling quite extensively. I have one more week and I will have two weeks of leave to mess with the car. I will start answering your questions whether I have what you are looking for off the 34. Once again, I apologize and will be able to take some pics of the parts you are interested in and you can let me know then if you would require them. Cheers Mark
  10. Dave, Are you in the San Jose area? Would like to come look at your car when I return to the Bay Area. Cheers, Mark
  11. Dave, I have the choke cable (not sure on the condition yet) and the crank hole cover (metal is in good shape) and as for the lock cylinder, I will have to look when I get home. I don't recall if it was there. Mark
  12. I am active duty Army so I am always traveling all over the place. Makes it tough to get to my projects. Hopefully I will have some time again soon. I did check the doors and they suffered a lot of rust on the bottom portions. They can be repaired, but will take some work.
  13. Oops...towed the car back, not drove. I will do my best to get to the car when I get back on my days off. Mark
  14. Sorry...I drove the car back from Louisiana and was only home two days and now I'm in Alaska until the 22nd. Not ignoring any of you, I just travel quite extensively and haven't had an opportunity to start pulling parts off. I don't want to promise anyone any parts until I'm sure that I have them and they are in a descent amount of shape to be used. Cheers, Mark
  15. Ian...you are correct, the hurricane picked her up and drooped her pretty hard. Just got the car back home to California. Dragging her clear across the country was no fun. Had to buy a car trailer in Texas and I pulled her home about 2200 miles. The main reason I picked up the car was for the headlights and horns. I really didn't need any other parts to be honest. I have everything complete for mine now. At least I hope so...I will start pulling off some pieces soon to start parting it out to try and recoup some of what I spent. Cheers
  16. All...as you can see from the pictures below, this baby is pretty much rusted out as far as the body goes. Just wanted to share a little more as to what will be available. Cheers
  17. So perhaps all I will need is the glass lenses and springs I suppose. Thanks for the pic! Cheers
  18. Yeah Ian....that is definitely your light. Your the only person that has gave me an idea do what they log like. Haha Turns out the car I am picking up was original and had very few original miles and was a victim of hurricane Katrina. Poor old car was destroyed. Quit a shame.
  19. No kidding. Some of the pictures I have seen looked like they had a beauty ring. I attached a picture of one below.
  20. That would be great. The headlights are missing the ring and the glass cover. I think I will be complete at that point. I finally got all my pieces, it's taken quit some time.
  21. No worries all...I am at Disney World with the family and I will be bring the car home in about a week. I will be pulling it apart soon and start parting it out. I need to find the beauty rings and glass for the headlights, so if anyone wants to do some trading, possibly we can make a deal. Cheers
  22. Also. It's just like the other 34 I have posted pics in earlier threads. Has the spare tire mount on back. Sorry for the confusion. Cheers
  23. My apologies...it's a 4 Door Sedan. I was wondering why you were asking the same question. Lol My heads not clear...drove 2200 miles to get to the car today. As for pictures, that's the only one I have other than the interior. It was pretty dark since the car was in a connex.
  24. It's a 4 door coupe. The DR model only had one wiper blade, this has two, so it might be the deluxe model. Won't know until I get the numbers off the tags and reference them to be sure.
