  1. Cooper Tredndsetter 215/75/15 on my 63.. they look and feel good, although I usually refer to them as beige-walls
  2. Black with red leather.. tach.. turbines.. that is a really cool one there
  3. Hi all Looking at a set of stainless side trim from a 55 2 door.. however the seller cant confirm which model they are from - the sedan (post) or hardtop. Does it matter? The 2 models seem to be the same length. I'm mostly concerned with the rear quarter pieces, especially the first piece after the door. Hope someone knows! Thanks Matt
  4. Fantastic color combo.. beautiful car
  5. That is what dreams are made of... a knock out colour scheme too 👏 👏👏
  6. Forgive me if its been discussed before, seen a set of 5 x 5 Rallye rims for sale. 2 with register rings, two without. Seller measures center hole as 3" on rims without rings. Been on a C10 truck. Will these work on my stock '63? Assuming the rings can be removed? Thanks

    Not mine

Is a/c that important? I live in a tropical rainforest where 90% plus humidity is common. Never even turned mine on
  8. Wow that GTHO would be worth a fortune. Amazing to have had it this long. I'm in NZ Matt
  9. Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood... silver 63 or 4 about 10 min in... behind Pitt & DiCaprio during a scene Pretty sure it appears again
  10. Someones glued a coin into mine 😁
  11. I had similar issue.. emailed and was told some parts were on backorder. They eventually arrived. I think their automated ordering system needs improving re order status. No probs with email correspondence.
  12. Having spent many hours shimming and fitting my 56 panels, I agree that's a very nice job and a beautiful looking car
  13. White on white... don't think I've seen that before!! A rare combo?
  14. Jim my interior is silver. As for the carpet color... silver, charcoal, black.. not really fussed as long as it fits. Had enough of manipulating repro parts to fit. It cost's me a small fortune in shipping being in New Zealand!!
  15. Hi all Can anyone recommend a good supplier for new carpet for my 63? Something that fits properly... I have just been battling with ill fitting window fuzzies and never want to experience that kind of headache again. Unsure of weather to purchase a new repro or have an upholstery guy make one. Interested in hearing about quality and fitting if anyone has done this job. Thanks in advance Matt
  16. I too would appreciate a link or a part number. Currently battling with a kit of fuzzies from another supplier. A nightmare is an understatement
  17. That's a great score! Worth eating turds for any day!!
  18. I searched for a long time for a solution to this. Best I could do was squash the last approx 3 inches of the ducting in a vice, just enough to form an even oblong shape, semi bending the wire inner into shape. Then pushing the ducting into the rectangle vents, rather than over. It wants to spring back into a circular shape, creating enough force to hold it in pretty nicely. Trial and error, but I could not find any rectangular ducting. Matt
  19. 25K in a shop for a QUALITY paint job. I could give you a $2500 paint job even easier. I just painted my Riv in my carport over Easter. Waited for a wind free day and wet the floor. It'll do for now. It's a driver. I guess I was ball parking your average old car with usual issues getting a QUALITY body and paint job paying shop hours. All depends what you want and what the car is like to start with. How long's a piece of string
