  1. Here’s a drawing of the late Maxwell as it would be mounted on the block.
  2. Jay, would you mind if I post this information on the Maxwell Facebook page? Thank you this work.
  3. Recently, I’ve lost count of the number of 1922-1925 Maxwell owners who have non operational cars. The problem is the white pot-metal distributor housing that disintegrates over time. Finding a replacement is next to impossible. If someone has one that could be used as a pattern, could we work as a group to have replacements engineered for these owners?
  4. I know the late Maxwell engines had problems with the distributor housings. I will stay clear of the ‘28s. Thank you!
  5. I should have used the word ‘series’ instead of ‘model’. The 116 refers to the wheelbase. These were four cylinder cars produced between 1923 and 1926. I understand they had all steel bodies. Coach = two-door sedan.
  6. Looking to purchase a Dodge Brothers series 116 two-door (1923-1926) coach. Needs to be road worthy. Thank you!
  7. Looking to purchase a 1930-1934 Plymouth two-door sedan. Needs to be road worthy. Thank you!
  8. Looking to purchase a Dodge Brothers series 116 (1923-1926) two-door sedan. Needs to be road worthy. Thank you!
  9. For indoor storage, is an appropriate type (e.g., California Car Cover) car cover recommended? Some say cloth covers still let dust through. Or, is it better to leave the car uncovered and periodically use a detailer product to ‘dry wash’ fine dust away?
  10. Unique engine fan for early Chrysler eight. Supposed to be NOS, but looks like it had been mounted previously. Excellent condition. $75, includes shipping.
  11. ‘31-‘32 door handle, finish is very good, no wear or rust. $40, includes shipping.
  12. A pair of See-Rite brand side mount mirrors from early ‘30s. Finish shows wear. Mirrors are good. $200, includes shipping.
  13. A single hubcap for a Chrysler Royal Eight and a single hubcap for a Chrysler Eight. Need to be refinished. Make an offer. Thank you!
  14. A pair of See-Rite brand side mount mirrors from early ‘30s. Finish shows wear. Mirrors are good. $200, includes shipping.
  15. I have three Chrysler Eight hubcaps. I believe these are for artillery wheels. They need re-plating. All have cracks along the outer edge that can be repaired. Since artillery wheels appear less frequently on cars that survived, I am not sure how difficult they are to find. Make an offer. Thanks.
  16. Nice set of cowl-lights. Will polish up for use now. A few cracks on the lens rings. Nice lenses. $150, includes shipping.
  17. 10 inch trumpet horn, tin work very nice - will need re-plating, horn mechanism will need cleaning and reconditioning. $150, includes shipping.
