Does it have info listed as to where and when that was taken?

    Sorry

i don’t remember the book. We have hundreds and we were sorting them out and I was just scanning the pages and that truck was in it. I’ll keep my radar on. Sure does look like yours.

    I never putt that together.

Still looking for a 68 OHC 6 Firebird coupe with automatic.  Broadening my search, will consider any 68 coupe, not just OHC 6, if it is an April Gold with April Gold interior car, prefer the standard interior, again with automatic, prefer console instead of column shifter.  Understand that is a lot of qualifiers, but you gotta know what you want.  Thanks to all.  SMB

    Good to hear,

may you now have some external parts in spare? I need a oil pressure relief valve and a late 323 cui style oil filter mount (full-flow oil filter as found on 1946/47 and newer engines). These two items are badly needed for my 1947 race-car engine that now runs (but still has the two issues mentioned.

I have parts for the late 40s engine. Send wants of what you need email.

    Thanks

    Dave

Here is a graphic I did that some may find useful here. This is for folks that are going to take the time to do a true TDC adjustment. Using this method you only have to set up 2 TDC firing cylinders and you can adjust every valve. This will allow for proper hot or cold, clean feeler, precision work. Some will be surprised to see some valves come up more than once, don't be and, no, you can don't have to do them twice. The technique is close to 100 years old and I am always surprised how few people know about it.

For those that do their tuning on running tappets this will be of no use.
For those that have their distributors mounted in an non standard position, fix it before using this guide.

    Enjoy

    Thank you for this.

    Happy new year everyone.

I am looking for a straight rust free original pickup.    Hopefully unrestored.  Not running is OK just no rust as I don,t want to do any body work .

I realize I am asking a lot and I don,t expect anyone to give me one.  An older restoration is fine also.

Any help, any leads would be appreciated.

Hope every one is well and have a great year.

    Thanks

    Joe

    Have you found one?

I wouldn't require a video call.  Some people are difficult to deal with.  No sense in throwing another barrier in the way. I for one have no idea how to do a video call and if I was selling a $100 part wouldn't bother to take the time to figure it out.  You should see what I go through just to buy literature from some people.  Yes I have been scammed a couple of times but it's the cost of doing business.   In general most of the world is still decent and honest,  just all the evil and freaks are all we hear about day after day. Remember when we bought stuff from Hemmings including cars with just a word ad?

We sell-buy a lot. I already foiled a half dozen scammers with this method. I only use that method when I feel it's a scammer.

Can someone post a few pictures of their wiper motor both from inside (behind inspection panel) and outside of the truck? There are two mounting pieces, one inside and one outside that hold the motor in place. I don't know if I have the wrong mounts or the wrong motor but something isn't right. I sent my motor to Ficken Wiper in New York for rebuild and either I sent the wrong motor or they returned the wrong one. Pictures would help immensely! 37 and 38 are the same. I usually video anything I take apart for future reference but not this time, big mistake! Thanks, Frank.

    Still need pictures.

If you are looking for a 34 windshield frame, you need to specify if it is a coupe or sedan.  The sedan frames are taller and would have to be cut down to fit a coupe.

33 Dodge the same as the 34? I know that the 34 is a crank out and the 33 is a push-out. 34 would need the 2 taped holes in the center for the tape.

    Thanks

    Dave
