  1. Hello Dave,

I screwed up and gave you the wrong area code. Bruce is alive and well, his telephone number is 503-246-1287. He keeps business hours since this is his full time job.

Thanks Dave. Will be talking to Bruce later. Number is good!

  2. I have used Bobs when i had my shop in Mi. during the 70s and 80s. He's been around a long time. Thanks for the info. I have about a dozen good clusters laying around and i thought i would get a couple redone ready to go. Thanks for the input.

  3. The bogus luggage rack, bogus sidemounts and 1950's paint job with no pin striping belie the assertion that this is an original car.

Does a knowledgeable person know if all 1933 Dodges used the side mount spare hardware pictured at this link?

or, did the early cars use a pickup truck style mounting bracket?

Yes, 33 Dodge car used this fender, spare tire set up as pictured. We have a 2nd owner car bought from the original in 1963 that we have bought. It's a 1933 DP duel spare with luggage rack.

  4. If you are interested the D.B club sells a CD set ( 4 or 5 cds ) of all their old back issues, the info found within these is tremendous. Its a great place to start if you are interested in living up to the Roy Brister JR title.

Cheap by the way, maybe 40 bucks

Jason. Thanks for the time and effort that you put into this. I don't have a vast amount of years left to learn the teens and 20s like Roy did. I got to know Roy through Mike at DCV. We were hauling cars and parts for him. Also sold him a 2004 Dodge dually p/u. Roy was a really neat guy and a lot of fun to be with. Roy Brister is extreamly missed along with Mike Northcutt from DCV, Tom Bryant from Plydo and Al Smith from Ram. A lot of knowledge and talent gone in the last 10 years. :(

  5. Make sure if you have a small truck that you are having to transport your product and big carriers also that they have the correct Auth, Ins and documents to transport your products. A few of these transporters run under the radar. If you have any questions about transport, give me a call. Recently semi retired with 40 years of transport under my belt with 4 million accident free miles. 209-613-1199 Thanks, Dave
