I am looking for a running engine that I can just drop into my 1967 GS 400. Original engine was rebuilt poorly by previous owner and cracked a piston to pieces. Block is already bored 60 over so I am looking to get a running engine to just drop in as funds become available and rebuild another engine. If anyone knows someone selling one, let me know. Thanks

Thanks Dave. If I recall correctly the Model A also had the number on the flywheel housing. Any other guidance to look into when looking for such model car? Thanks

Hello all. Newbie here. I am looking to purchase a 35-37 Ford Coupe original, prob 5 window model. I have restored in the past a 29 model a so I am a bit familiar on how cars were built in those days. Now I am new to this model car. What should I look for when purchasing one of these models? Where do I confirm the VIN numbers since on the Model A there were threes spots? any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks
