  1. Thank a lot fellas. I have an old MOTORS repair manual, but my problem is, how does one operate this feature? Here's what my original brochure says about it.
  2. Did you get my last message? It's a little difficult navigating this site. I asked if these were original mopar parts. I couldn't see it on the box in your picture.
  3. Sorry, don't get here often. Wish I needed them. Do you have PayPal? How much for shipping? Thanks, Bill
  4. Must be '42. '46-'48 had those front fender extensions into the doors. I have a couple '41 Dodges, and there is no front fender trim.
  5. Hi, I have a couple '41s, but my lenses are good. Hate to pile up parts if I don't need them. Could you let them go any cheaper? They'd just be spares for "just in case". Thanks, Bill
  6. My 3 window doesn't have a chrome ring around the back window. Do you know for sure if these 3 windows came with chrome trim? The running boards don't have chrome (stainless) trim on them like my sedan does.
  7. Just wanted to say Hi, and hope you find what you're looking for. I too have a couple '41 Dodges, and one is a 3 window business coupe. Seems that the '41 Dodges are hard to find parts for. What do you need besides running boards? Here's a picture of mine. Still an old original, and has some issues yet. Been driving it some, but today it developed a serious engine noise. Have to look into it.
  8. Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I found the info I needed, and bought my shocks. Monroe brand, common items. If you want to know the numbers, I will get them for you. Bill
  9. FYI, I think my old shocks were o.e.m. And yes, the numbers are stamped in them. I even saw those same numbers used in a sale or two for cross referencing. I believe my new Monroe shocks ALSO have the numbers stamped in them. No one selling shocks will give you the info you need to purchase the correct shocks. I was told by another mopar enthusiast what monroe shocks I needed. That was awesome. Went to my local chain auto parts store and bought the two rears on hand, and ordered the fronts. I got them real reasonable. I simply asked if they could do a little better on the price, and boy did they. Never hurts to ask at a parts store. You may be surprised. Bill If anyone wants to know the Monroe numbers for these shocks, I will get them for you.
  10. Thank you for the offer. I finally found the info I needed, and bought the shocks. Perfect match. I got all (4) for $80 and some change. Monroe shocks. Regular price @$28, got them discounted at a local auto parts chain for @$18 a piece.

  12. Hello! I know they're different, for sure. I was hoping some nice guy would give me some part numbers so I could purchase these shocks without going through a "middle man". You wouldn't by chance be one of these, would you? I know that's a lot to ask from a person "in the business ", but have to ask. Bill
  13. Thanks for the reply! I've been doing a lot of internet searching. Most resources say that '39-'48 are the same. Problem is; can't find any reference as to what brand or part number. Ebay lists some, but the sellers info is inconclusive and they contradict each other. There are SO many shocks made that you'd think someone would have figured out what will work. One ebay seller is offering a full set for about $200, but I'm sure they can be bought much cheaper.
  14. Hello, Having a tough time locating shocks for my '41 Dodge d19. There is conflicting info as to what fits and availability. (Or not) Anyone out there have any success in this matter? Thanks, Bill

  17. Hello members! I have a '41 Dodge with the unusual "Power Assist" shift option. I can't find much info on this. Can someone explain to me what it does exactly? I don't understand it's function or intent. Thanks, Bill
  18. What are you going to do with your clock? For sale? If so, can you send pics to 218-259-5265? Thanks, Bill
  19. Do you still have this clock? Thanks, Bill
  20. Just saw your post for this clock. Do you still have it? Thanks, Bill
  21. Hello gentlemen, One piece at a time, would be fine. I'm needing a few stainless trim pieces for my (2) 1941 Dodge cars. Here's what I'm trying to find......... (2) Front, center (bottom) piece, behind the bumper. I need two, but would be happy with one. (1) The short piece on the center door pillar on a Town Sedan. This is the 4 door model, with the standard opening doors. (not the suicide door model) I believe either side would work. (2) Running board strips. If you have ONE of these, that would be great. Looking for very good to excellent or N.O.S. Thank you, Bill 218-259-5265
