  1. Hi everyone, I have a 1926 Buick (model: 26/40) that has the distributor frozen solid to the generator. Seems to be a common problem because the original distributor is pot metal. I am now looking for a Delco Remy 640 distributor from a 28/29/30 Buick (series 40) that is supposed to be a drop in replacements made out of STEEL. All Delco 640x distributors will work. The x could be an A thru Z. I am also looking for the 28/29/30 Delco generator that I can rebuild while at it .... Any lead or help is highly appreciated !!! Thanks Marc PS: Attached is an excellent article by Hugh Leidlein describing the problem in the AACA forum

  3. Hello, I am looking for 1951 Buick Roadmaster rims (15") to be able to fit 235/75-15 tires on a 1937 Buick Coupe. Any information or hint is appreciated. Also for companies that are able to supply similar style aftermarket rims. Thanks Marc
  4. Hello everybody, my name is Marc, I live in Berlin Germany and belong to a local prewar antique car and motorcycle club (I also have Indian MCs) I just bought a cream 1937 Buick Coupe in Texas last week which looks pretty original. The previous owner told me, that the car originally came out of PA. Because the tag is missing on the bulkhead I am not quite sure what model it is exactly (Series 40 business coupe???). Can anybody help identify it please? Also the car sits on 6.50/16 whitewalls which are pretty old. I´d like to fit 235/75-15 tires on steel rims for a safer feeling while driving down the road. Does anybody know where to find 15" rims as on the black car in the attached picture (this car is currently on ebay: The ebay seller says the rims came of a 51 Buick roadmaster??)? Thanks Marc
