  1. Where in Montana are you? Can you post more pictures? My 29 DA Deluxe is almost complete, but I may know of a couple guys that would be interested. Dave
  2. Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to not have to tear out all the gas lines, but I fear the bad gas is not going away until I do. Your symptoms sound very similar and I will blow out all my lines and the pump, empty the tank, and start with fresh, clean fuel.
  3. I have straight 6 with a Carter BB1 Carb, and ele fuel pump. I thought the gas might have been bad so I cleaned the system and replaced the fuel filter, but the problem persists. Problem: Engine dies when put under a load. Engine starts fine with choke and will idle under choke. When I put it into gear and release the clutch it acts like there is no power and the engine eventually stalls unless I put in clutch and pump gas pedal. I can go maybe 20 yards at a time this way. In reverse it will go longer, smaller gear=lower load on engine. I had it out two weeks ago and it ran fine. It started acting up a mile away from the garage when I was returning. After cleaning the fuel system the problem didn't go away which made me think there may be an electrical issue. The engine will miss every 4 or five cycles at idle. Any ideas out there? Thanks!
