1951 Ford two door sedan $14000/ not mine
kingrudy replied to Buick35's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
Not a bad looking car at all. https://spacecoast.craigslist.org/cto/d/cocoa-1951-ford-sedan/7678825802.html -
Absolutely no doubt, this is one beautiful car. I checked the link and that is a little confusing. Does this car have the modern interior with bucket seats and a steering column that has been replaced, or is the interior restored to original? As good looking as this car is, IMO if your budget is 62K then there are many cars on the market that are under that number and this wouldn't top the list. Just sayin' trying to keep it real.

Is this the cat's meow, or what? Stunning car, I like the silver exterior that gives this a subtle elegance and the very classy red interior. I do not think that you would run into a similar car as this in your neighborhood. My best friend had a '62 Galaxie (not XL) back when I was just out of high school, which he traded for a '63 XL both cars had the 406 and both were very fast. That said, I would prefer the Dodge as the Merc needs paint and a very nice paint job would run about 20K putting the price of that Merc at 55K. This Dodge is done and looks beautiful.

No doubt, it looks well worth the wait.

My 58’ Century Caballero Estate Wagon Build

I had my chrome plated and any pitting repaired by Van Nuys Plating in Van Nuys, Ca. This was about 10 years ago, but all of their work still looks great. My first chrome plating was done by Astro Plating and they suck. When plating pot metal the pits looked worse than before it was plated. Van Nuys Plating is located in the San Fernando Valley just North of Los Angeles. -
Nice looking two door sedan, at a price that is attractive also. I visited Redding for their "Cool April Nights" car show about six years ago. A full week of events with a massive car show on the weekend. Had a great time. I hope they are still doing it. If you live in Washington, or the Northern California area, it is worth the drive.

According to the Standard Catalog of Buick 3rd Edition, there were 12,181 of the Model 41-56C were produced. On Note 16 the book states "An additional 210 Model 41-56CX convertible coupes were built for export. Hope this helps. With that ID number it appear as though numbers 14034052 through 14257441 were built at the Flint, Michigan plant. Sure would like to see more pics of this Super.

Pretty scruffy interior, I wouldn't get in the car without wearing a full hazmat suit. As mentioned by Dave Wells, "the engine compartment is cleaner than the interior" Sad state of affairs, because that interior looked pretty sharp when this was a new car and the two tone exterior still doesn't look too bad. Sure would not light a match near that gas tank.

Seems inexpensive, but to me the 1959 Olds is not everyone's cup of tea. It is tamed down from the '58, but the rear is controversial. I like it a lot except the black interior on a convertible is a mistake. Summertime with the way black attracts heat would not be comfortable. Beautiful car overall. GLWTS

1959 Buick Invicta $12,000 Longview WA NOT MINE

Very attractive hard top and the interior looks awesome as well. -
I like this truck, in my opinion this is a very handsome vehicle. The problem that I have with the ask is that in the post the seller states that this is an amateur restoration. Now that opens up a whole can of worms as to what level this truck was brought to. If he could show documentation of a frame off, every nut and bolt restoration, done up to factory specs. Then maybe the ask is in the ball park. Personally I would prefer the Hudson, so any price would not matter. That said, this is a very desirable truck and at 30K both parties, seller and buyer should feel that a fair price was met. GLWTS
