  1. Well that's my wife in the background of the second shot so I would suggest it's more truck or bus sized rather than car I didn't have the forethought to measure it but I am back there next year with a bit of luck.
  2. I found this old chassis while wandering around the sandhills in talacre North Wales. It has been cut and the main rails used as fence posts in the fifties probably when this area was covered in home built seaside huts. I know it's a big ask but someone may recognise the spring end of the rail that hasn't been cropped off.
  3. Possibly an electric van, anybody any ides?
  4. Reminds me of a 50s Studebaker possibly a customised one or showcar?
  5. Interesting looks like there are a set of rear wing extensions on the one in the woods. wing1.bmp wing2.bmp
  6. Siva cars in the UK used to do some Edwardian style cars in the 70s and this web site notes them 'casting their own artillery wheels' but lists the size as 18 inches could they be another version of these? http://www.sivaedwardian.co.uk/tourer_9.html
  7. That key slip so made me laugh!! My bowels have never had a screw in the back either.
  8. Its considered to be an aerodynamic tweak thats allowed in the rules you have to have wipers but it dosnt say where they have to be parked, how much good it would do is debatable.
  9. Ok so I know this is a Vauxhall Cresta but I've a feeling I've seen that side trim on a 50s/60s american motor, maybe upside down anybody else recognise it or was it a sixties accessory. cheers guys.
  10. Not sure if the stripes go all the way over the top on the example in the book.
