  4. Ed, thanks for your help. I will go with that.
  5. My question now is how, how many cars had this trip package and what was it called. Nice looking Skylark. Have the total spear side trim package also.
  6. Ed. while I don't have the car, that is the trim package I have. Now if we can name it, it would be great.
  7. ED, That why I did not want to use the term "landau" because the car did not have vinyl top, but a portion of the roof was painted a different color then the rest of the car. I had a copy of the 65 Buick new car information, but can not locate it now. Don't know if it would b e pictured in it or not.
  8. I liberated a bunch of 65 Skylark parts from an attic above a work show where they had resting since the early 80"s. Most of it is the front dog house along with trim pieces. My question has to do with a chrome package that put chrome strips along the roof edge, front and sides and wrapped it around under the rear window. What was this package called. I was thinking Landau, but I don't know if that is correct. I have a complete set that I will post in the buy\sell section when I can get a total list of what I have.
  9. Roberta, Thanks for the information. I used parts of your grill to repair an extra grill that came with my 68 California. I was planning on having the grill, chrome surround and side supports ready to take to BG in two weeks. Answer me another question. The extra grill i have is gray with the outer ring being black. The grill in my 68 is black with a gray outer ring. So what's up with that. Let me know. Hard at work getting the 65 ready for the trip to BG, see you there.
  10. The grill looks like a grill for a 68 GS or for a 68 deluxe coupe or for a 68 GS California. i thought a part number on the grill 1382632 would br the best way to get an answer.
  11. I purchased a grill that I thought was for a 68 GS. Did not take my chassis and body parts book with me. Can't find this number listed in the 68 book. 1382632. Can anyone tell me what it's for. Thanks. Glenn
  12. Sounds good. Let me know. Glenn
  13. Hey Roberta, Good to hear from you. Thanks for the information on the hood ornaments. When you find something at a swap meet for a Buick and it's NOS in box you have to pick it up. and to NTX5467, yes the numbers I listed were from the information on the box. Glenn
  14. Will be there with my White Hardtop. That is always a great weekend. It will be nice not to have the only 65 G.S. at the show for once. Let's fill the field. Glenn
  15. Looking for a 68 GS grill that may be to broken up to save, I need the top center section that has the tab that attaches to the rad. support in tact. Thank you for your help. Glenn
  16. I purchased two NOS hood ornaments (in box) at a swap meet. The part numbers are 25550327 and 25515734. Does anyone have information that will tell me what they fit? Thanks for your help. Glenn
  17. Here is what happens when you do something for a friend. He knew that I belonged to the B.C.A. and ask me if I would post his car on the Reatta site. He gave me all the information I needed to post the car, but forgot to mention the listing on craigslist. So price has been corrected, and I look like the jerk.

  21. Mark. Thanks for the tip on the ATF\lacquer thinner mix. I mixed up a batch and soaked the nut overnight, it came off with no problems. Thanks again Glenn
  22. Thank you for the response to my question about my Moto Meter problem. The nut inside the cap does require a 3/4" socket. I have soaked the nut in PB Blaster for two days, do I will take Tom's suggestion and check out getting some Kroil. Now that I know that the nut does come off I can work on the problem. I didn't want to get to rough with it because I don't think that my customer would be to happt if I gave it back to him in pieces.
