  1. Hmm. Interesting there's no reply, Tom...
  2. Is anyone nearby this seller? Looks very interesting but obviously risky for me being so far away of nor verified, checked etc.... Ed, yes it would be good to know the ROA member history.
  3. love that light red colour is that N Coral Mist *621 actually,,,, love that Maroon as well....
  4. yes, I recall that screw in the fuzzies as well. ahhhh I did this about 5 years ago and will soon go thru the process again.
  5. Just putting this out there in its own thread. In case anyone isn't aware, I'm keen to add a 1965 Gran Sport to the garage if anyone knows of a rust free genuine vehicle for sale. Preferably a member's car.
  6. Ka-pow! I like that .... Ahhhh I was wondering if it was the angles of the pics that had me thinking the 73 had a flatter more vertical front end, ...but there ya go... It IS different Sheesh, more money, more garage space... I could have both
  7. is it possible to change front bumpers from a 71/72 onto a 73 ? I really like the look of the rear on the 73
  8. we got there for the final day and it was awesome. that Lost in the 50s museum is a blast. always fun meeting new people at these get-togethers... cool barbie at the winery too eh, fellas so many cool cars there - it reinforced that I want a '65 Gran Sport, if anyone has a lead.... unfortunately we weren't in a Riv, as our '65 is undergoing a restoration pat on the back again for making the Riv meet so much fun, Tony, Barb and all the organisers. ....... and thanks for bringing my new brakes, Tony
  9. damngit that's a cool setup 440 !?!?! must go like the clappers.. and i really dig your Mustang. as per previous comments, colour is amazing. nice old ute too.
  10. Call me a car guy. Tho definitely not a mechanically skilled car guy My 70 Challenger T/A
  11. thanks again Ed - I'm still a bit confused. the identification page shows that the 425c.i. Production Code uses the format "LX123" is the "123" portion of the code a production sequential number? I got this pic from this thread (man, i was close to buying this car back then... duh): is this the LX Production code that Rich had photographed? Also.... aside from engine I.D. can anyone help re. transmission, diff and carb Identification also curious about this last pic - what is it?
  12. where would this LX code stamp be located? where would the Posi X be located? Someone could put a BS trans and engine dressing. Then also match the carb dates with body tag. Carb looks like a numbers matching at least in that it is off a 65. how do you check the carb dates? what is this photo below indicating?
  13. thanks Randall, that car has been online various times before and it's listed higher in price I thought I recognised the photos. I'll see what the seller comes back with...
  14. I been attempting to edumacate myself on Gran Sports via comments on this thread to verify the Red Riv linked above I see Ed's comment: "Little things like the missing emblem on the passenger's door panel" do you mean the R logo Ed? just confirming there shouldn't be a GS specific emblem or something. this is the door trim on the Red Riv not many pics in this ad... I'll get some more info from the seller...
  15. I just saw that Red 65 Gran Sport. anyone know of this car thru the club or otherwise? any opinions on the value at $39k?
