  1. I understand your opinions guys. My application is a little more different. My car isn't quite original so keeping it original especially for the master cyl. is not a big deal for me. If anyone knows where I could get a dual master that might bolt up to the stock mount, I would appreciate it greatly. My car is nothing like the ones you have. I wished it was..... but got to use what you have.
  2. I have a master cylinder in my 49 streamliner. I put a new on and works ok. What I would like is to have a dual piston (chamber) for more safety. Does anyone know if a master is made that will bolt onto stock mounting and where to possibly get one? Thanks in advance......
  3. I have some fender skirts I got for my 46. I took off the trim on one of them to prep and paint. Now I notice that the rear end I have in my car is too wide to fit within the skirts. (the wheels stick out more than they should.) I even purchased new rubber seal for them. I thought I would put them on here before going to flea bay. They are complete with the original trim and the arms move well, minor surface rust. But in very good shape. There is a number stamped on them of: 84651 $380 plus shipping. contact me for more photos or any questions.

  5. Anyone know of a site that has harrison radiator ID numbers and what they fit?
  6. Thanks Joe! Good info was found. It did scare me some too! It seems that to remove the shocks I need to take the tension off the springs. Whao.... what am I getting into?
  7. I just bought some NOS shocks for the front of my 46 Streamliner. My question is what grease or oil goes in these for the dampening? I assume thats how it works:confused: I havent received these yet to really look at them but soon;)<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  9. I have a couple of really good fender skirts with original trim. They seem to not fit easily on my car. Can someone help with the part number. They have a number stamped on the support for the handle to attach to the fender. The number is 84651. I know this dosent match with the real part number. On ebay someone sold a single skirt and it had a part number wrote on it of 507541. (not stamped in). see the ebay site here: 1942 - 1947 Pontiac Streamliner NOS LH fender skirt 507541 | eBay maybe you cannot access this link. If not see the attachment of the page. My question is how do I determine if the skirts I have will fit my 46 streamliner? They are very tight. Not sure how the arms on the bottom of the skirt fit up with the fender either. Or how the attachment arm works with the skirt. Just a little lost....... ebay skirt (2).pdf
  10. Thanks Dan.... they didn't have them though.... I thought I found some.... but they said it has the drum attached to the hub? Mine is not like that.... they are seperate. Either they have the wrong one or I do. Shouldn't the stock (like mine) hav seperate drums/hubs?
  11. Thanks Todd.... I already checked with CPR.... no luck. I'll try your other contact.
  12. Where can I find wheel hubs for my 46 Streamliner?
  13. I need new front wheel hubs for my 1946 Streamliner. I am unable to locate a source for these. Any info is appreciated.
  14. Just got some real nice fender skirts for my 46. Not sure how the arms on the skirt connect to the fender. Looks like there should be a slot on the underside of the fender for the tabs (arms) on the skirt to go into. Is there a part missing from my fender to accomodate the skirt? Thanks in advance for any input.
