  17. I should have had more coffee this morning before I answered. I forgot it also needs the drivers door window glass replaced. The track unbolted inside the door and the glass dropped and broke. I have a replacement piece of glass to go in it in the back of the car but haven't installed it yet.
  18. Thanks for your email. It has an automatic transmission. Odometer says 24 so I assume it is 10024. In terms of what it needs, everyone would give a different answer. If you want a concourse show car it needs everything. If you want a fun weekend cruiser to take on drives or local shows, it needs the headliner tacked back up ( it is in good condition but needs top bows as it is sagging ), it needs the front seats redone or covered, new carpet and some detailing. I have a friend here in town who would only put in gas and change the oil, so it is all subjective. We are driving it around town just as it is right now.
  19. 1956 Studebaker Commander Parkview 2 door wagon. When is the last time you saw one ? 20. Let me know if these photos show what you needed to see. If not, I can take more for you. If interested in the car, feel free to make an offer. I am trying to raise money to finish a restoration and every bit helps. David Ross

  22. Selling this one of a kind 1948 Crosley convertible. Runs ( off a gas can - needs a gas tank and the rest of the mechanical work and interior finished). Body stripped to bare metal exposing all original lead work for customization done in the 50's. Have original open title from the early 50's . No rust, car smoothed of dings and primed and painted. What you see is what you get- if you don't see the parts in the photos, I don't have it. I did replate the custom front and back bumper and they come with the car along with whatever is in the photos. email if you have questions. Lost interest and want to finish a couple of other ongoing projects instead. First $ 5,000.00 takes the car. Located in Naples FL. dross1958@comcast.net
  23. Is the painting on the right side still available ? Is it original, or a print ? If it is available, what is your lowest price you will take.
  24. I need to sell things to finish the restoration of our 1956 Dodge. So, this 1948 Crosley convertible that was customized at some point in the 1950's must go. I have the original signed title from the early 1950's which you will get. Look at the photos and feel free to ask questions - or if you are in the Naples, FL area - you can come and see it. Car runs ( from a gas can , it needs a tank ) Body/paint is done, but it needs the interior finished and the rest of the mechanical items checked over. Has the rare original radio, and a pair of show quality re-chromed front and back bumpers * shown in the second photo and one was unwrapped , and whatever else you see in the car is what you get. I have nothing else other than what is in the photos. The car was stripped to the bare metal to remove the 50 plus year old paint, and fix all the dings and dents. There was lots of original lead from the bodywork way back when. $ 5,000.00 obo. dross1958@comcast.net
