I need to have a generator rebuilt for my DD-6 which is a Delco Remy 943 R. I have found literature stating that this is the correct generator for a DD-6 built in 1931 as mine is, however I need to determine what pully diameter and style it should have. I have a 943 J with a three spoke pulley of 3.30" diameter, and other solid pulleys of 3.65" diameter. The master parts book says the same pully was used on the DC, DE, DH, DI, and DL. Does anyone have an original generator on one of these vehicles who can measure the pully diameter, or alternatively literature stating what the diameter and style should be? many thanks in advance, David

A wonderfully preserved 2000 Mazda Miata with only ~45,500 miles. Excellent body and paintwork, only a few small stone chips on the nose. Interior is good, but could use a little detailing; it has what I believe are carbon fiber highlights. It has rare Dayton wire wheels. The top is excellent, although the interior lining is faded in places. It is a 5 speed and runs beautifully; it just passed its state inspection with no issues whatsoever. Please respond if you'd like additional information and photos; it would be nice to see this car go to someone who appreciates it and will maintain it.

Does anybody have a few 3/8" NF24 Filister head Bolts 3/4" long or longer, or know of a supplier? I can find the course version, but not the fine thread. Any help greatly appreciated!

I am looking for 18" lock rings of the heavy duty profile, see attached photos. Have a 5/8" notch 1" in from the end. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Hi Harold, no the one I bought was a 1930 Dodge. This DeSoto was a great car but needed a paint job.

Thanks, that would be great. I do know that these were used on the 1930 Dodge DD-6 and DC-8, the 1931 Dodge DH-6 and DG-8, the 1930 Chrysler 66, the 1931 Desoto SA and the 1931 Plymouth PA -but I do not know who made them!

I am looking at a CK-6 Business Coupe that is for sale. It appears to be early production, engine number CK 1808, serial number 5,000,580 body number 377-77. What surprises me is that it has the narrow radiator shell of the K series, not the wide shell that I thought was on the CK series. It does have the lights on the front fenders, and a mechanical fuel pump that I believe are correct for the CK. The engine number is stamped on the driver side frame above the pitman arm so I presume the engine, frame and body are original. Could Desoto have phased in the wider shell such that early CK had the narrow shell? One other thing that strikes me as odd is that the trunk lid is wood framed when the rest of the body and doors are steel. The hinges appear to be home made so I am wondering if this panel is original. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much-a fairly rare fender then. The other fender that my friend has is also a right rear but has quite a lot of rust in the inner edge. As they are not DC-8 fenders my friend doesn't need them, if anybody needs them or knows of somebody who does please let me know

Thanks everyone-much appreciated. Is the single mounting hole on the rear of the fender to in wheel well wall that same as the DA (the flap the hole is in is actually a separate piece of metal to the fender). Also there are two holes that bolt to the running board, is that correct for the DA?
