  1. I heard about that 170V, but I can't recall where. I have no parts for the 770k. Do you have a 770k?
  2. Both spare wheels were taken off not to mention some of the lighting system (fogs, Noteks, etc)
  3. No, no tires. Is it a 170V you have? I might know that car.
  4. The top pic is the one in the museum in France. The bottom pic is my 1/18 scale version. AKA ''Adolf Hitler'' If anyone is offended by my pics of the swastika 770k please let me know I will be more than happy to take them down. I hope I had not offended anyone. Please also note I have no affiliation with no such group especially the Nazi regime. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/53194374@N03/5310984265/" title="Mercedes Benz 770k by BlueAngelF1, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5127/5310984265_9edc11efca_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="Mercedes Benz 770k" /></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/53194374@N03/5310984123/" title="Mercedes Benz 770k by BlueAngelF1, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5089/5310984123_dfcba427d4_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="Mercedes Benz 770k" /></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/53194374@N03/5311258248/" title="Mercedes Benz 770k by BlueAngelF1, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5201/5311258248_a2c4dabf56_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="Mercedes Benz 770k" /></a>
  5. G4 is for sure my second choice! A true work of art!
  6. thank you for your kind help! License plate #1A-148768 was used on many different Grossers. The pic you have of the rear of that car was a 1938-older W07 chassis series I. =)
  7. Not true. They made a total of 88 and 46 were armoured. Hitler constantly switched up for safty reasons. Hitler was a car nut like the rest of us and did favor the blue 38 770k series I (early version) in paticular, but he switched up for security reasons. He was paranoid, but paranoia kept him on his toes and this is why he lasted so long.
  8. Brother, I wish I knew. It could still be in Iraq (which I highly doubt). Its a big possibility it was sold behind closed doors to a potential collector that knew ahead of the invasion. I have a strong feeling it sold very cheap like $400k-$1,000,000. But, one thing I know for sure a handful of car collectors/dealers knew about the collection before the invasion.
  9. Yes, but the king decided to just give him the 500k instead of taking the 770k.
  10. Heres my ''Hitlers fleet" Hers another with the flag poles. The ''Sinsheim museum version'' with the siren configuration. The blue one... I have a total of 8 (so far)
  11. Only 9 known Mercedes 770k hard top sedan were made.
  12. Awesome pics! I had that same one in mind! Rio made some nice ones too!
  13. It is a massive big car! I visited the Canadian war museum, Sinsheim in Germany and my next trip next year to France to see the one there in their museum. The one in Canada has been abused for sure. It has been attacked before. You can tell by the marks and scuffs not to mention the three pointed star has been ripped off by a visitor.
  14. 1938-43 Mercedes 770k (AKA Grosser) series II W150 chassis. A total of 88 were built, 46 of them were armoured (which brought the weight under 10,000 lbs depending on options and headlight configuration including Notek lights). It is the biggest Mercedes made to date!
  15. Thanks guys! I'm a big fan of these cars, but unfortunately they were specially made for one of history's most infamous nut cases! Heres a pic of a 1/18 scale model. My pride and joy since I can't afford the real thing!
