  1. Very awesome progress and attention to detail. Matt
  2. This is not mine! I went and looked the car over and it is definitely a project. Familiar story of a father/son project, pushed outside under a leaky carport, which destroyed the top and some of the structural wood in the roof and drivers side rear corner. Owner was working on “replacing the wood” , but used pine. Interior is roached. Front seat would hold people but needs the mexican blanket treament to say the least. is listed for $3500.00 obo on letgo. Located in Carbondale,PA https://letgo.onelink.me/O2PG/b9d876f4 i took some pictures. The sheet metal is pretty nice and they painted the body already. (Were going for the taxi look) wood spoke wheels nice. New tires. Engine out of a earlier 27’ stude. Turns but doesnt run. Were working on wiring. Original is included but is apart. Also includes another frame/running gear from a 27’.
  3. If any motor or tranny mounts are rubber and deteriorated, this could be causing your problem. Matt
  4. This was on our show field this past summer. Matt Whitaker
  5. Just in chrome for grill and bumpers is what he is asking for the car. Looks to be nice brightwork. That is BIG expense on these. Especially the grill. Matt
  6. Pat, Sorry I missed this. What other parts might you be looking for. I still have access to parts Matt
  7. Awesome! This car made it to the correct place for this type of work! Looking forward to the progress! Matt
  8. That poor gent dropped his collision for the winter and was still driving the car. Doubt he sees a check. Matt
  9. Saturday, one of the founding members of the Scranton AACA region, had passed away and we (the club) attended his funeral. They asked for us to attend driving our antique cars. I drove my convertible, there was a 1932 Reo Firetruck, a 1933 Rolls Royce limo, and a1939 Chevy streetrod pickup. Didn’t really think to take pictures as it wasn’t the proper time or place Matt
  10. How about posting a video of the engine running...... Matt
  11. Not necessarily a poster, but was gifted this re-pop sign last night to adorn the walls of my little Buick haven.
  12. There’s a gentleman an hour and half away from me here in PA that I would recommend for sorting mechanicals out on any car. I know he has done work on Rolls Royce, Auburns, LaSalles, Dodge and he even helped me get my transmission in my 47’ back together correctly when the snap ring (un-snapped) on the second gear set. He is very knowledgeable and very reasonable. Pm me for his info. Matt
  13. I drove my 56’ this way almost all the time. Seems to have managed traffic better that way. Matt
  14. I wasnt even trying this year as my top and windows were not working all year. Top works now still have to sort the windows. But, When I rebuilt the speedometer I reset it to zero. When I started this year had a little less than 500 miles. I turned over 1000 miles this weekend.
