  1. yes, put my request into Mark but,have not heard back found another set, should have them shortly but still will buy Marks set too , as always you can never have enough spare parts, also the rubber may be usable and or duplicatable, as in reproduction? ( "Keep a smile on your face and a tool in hand" )

  7. no much progress here, your looks great, I see you chose the wide belt line instead of the pin stripes, that gives me an idea, only I may do the smaller top line as not to make it stand out as much,,mine has the pin stripes now, as original, but like I say I may change not sure at this stage,still looking to get North and pick up the set of vent window frames I found, good job!

Sorry Ian, that was to another poster" don't know how it wound up here....also if you know anyone looking I stumble onto a 1934 2 door on here, I talk to the owner and listed some pictures for him in the "buy and sell" forum, he's looking for $25,000... I listed his email also, nice 2 door, but I am still working on my 4 door for now,,,, any new pictures on your end? thanks Steve in NH

  10. no I won't be going ( Work ) I do have some 33 handles that are on it now and also just purchased crank hole cover reproduction off ebay, but it's for a 33 Dodge has the "6" on it and doesn't fit my 34 Dodge, are you looking for 1 ? I need to check which ones I need, think it's both front doors ( have a four door ) save me a few if you have them,,not to interested in the shape they are in (dull ,scratches ) at this point just want the correct one's on the car, also still looking for rear vent frame, just the ones that hold the glass Have the body frames, thanks....
  11. thats exactley how I did mine, 5 coats or urethane and light sand in between coats 80-100- then a 220 finish with last coat....little time thats all...good luck.
  12. best to deal with car guys and not treasure hunters, these are the guys that find a part and just want to "stic- it" to a regular guy just trying to restore a car, let them keep their over priced parts, and continue the hunt,,,you will stumble onto someone who will treat you right,and not try to gough you a need "rear end"........
  13. I have my original out of 34 Dodge,some dents but solid. needs cleaning inside,and also new neck .send me an email for a picture, you would have to pick it up I am in southern NH, thanks Steve
  14. slower than I had hoped, works getting in the way...lol did do new clutch,and rebuilt trans ,installed new gas tank and plumbing, but still sloooow...I'll get some pics up later , thanks again for your help Steve in NH
