  2. Sorry bud I was in a hurry. Just looking to sell the car. If i knew it was such an issue? I'd make the corrections. Think of it this way the cars an A+ and my grammars a D-. Cheers!!!
  3. 1962 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE $9,999 Hello I'm selling my beloved "1962" Coupe De Ville with high factory options and a great color combination. I've had it for the past three years. It started out being a barn find that I brought back to its former glory. Its as close as you'll find to being a true "1962" coupe De Ville there's still some little issues but other wise its all complete. And if it needs to be replaced I'll include all the extra parts in the sale. But were talking about nothing major or anything you really notice without really getting close and personal. This car is a real dream, clean and classy. The "62" Cadillac gets allot of attention whenever i drive it out on the town. THE GIST: Now the 1962 Cadillac Coupe De Ville's Black paint is a repaint. Once waxed its really! really! nice i didn't even wax it in the pictures, so you could just Imaging what you could really get out of this black paint. Remember this car is not perfect its a driver so when you get up really close There's a few areas of light scratches scrapes and a few light chips just somethings that come when owning an older driving Black colored car. theirs a couple of very light dings you notice in the (right light) that happen to be on top of the front fenders. But should fix up nicely by a professional dent remover. All blinkers, lights, turn signals and break lights work, except maybe a bulb out on the driver side hood turn signal. Tags are good until October 2012 MINOR ISSUES: There's some light rust bubble in some areas like under the front hood lip, battery tray and rear trunk lip, but the worst I would say is around the lower roof where the roof and the body meet just under the chrome I was going to fix it then either painting the roof with a complementary color or cover with a vinyl top. ( see the last picture below of the bad spot, if you need any more pictures just let me know). The power antenna hasn't worked ? but i really haven't tried to fix it. I have an extra one just in case. All the windows work. The only issue is with the rear passenger window, it works but gets stuck from time to time. windows need new seals some day and the interior has some light wear on the driver side arm rest and the rear passenger seat side, but no biggie. DRIVE TRAIN: The 390 refreshed stock motor runs good and looks great. Theirs a small leak with the transmission, so fluid should be checked if its been sitting a while But the original Hydromatic still shifts smooth as silk when all fluids are at there optimum levels. DAILY DRIVER: This Cadillac Could be a daily driver. NO problem i just don't drive it everyday. But i would probably look into getting a new Edlebrock carburetor if you intend to drive it on a daily bases? The original Carburetor works just fine. Had it rebuilt a couple of months ago. I just personally think it would run better with a updated carburetor like a 1407 Edelbrock 750 with an electric choke. As for me driving it i would say in the last three years I've drove it a total of 3,500 miles give or take a couple hundred or so! As for the mileage it has 62,427 showing on the odometer but I'm not selling it as the true millage because i cant document it so I'm selling the car as a 100,000 plus millage car but its a great runner non the less. INTERIOR: It's got a new carpet kit. But needs the the kick panels remade, Old ones come with the car.The Head liner is great, nice and a bright white. I have The original dash pad out of the car that has the auturic eye in it. Just needs to be recovered. But have a extra stock dash cover there now, both come with the car. The 6 way power seat will lean back and forth but may need solenoids in the future they work but stick once and awhile. I have one good one on a track that will come with the car. TITLE: I bought the car with a with a bill of sale. So I had I had the DMV in Oregon issue for a lost title and had the numbers checked at the state police. To my surprise The title was labeled "reconstructed" so its been in an insurance fender bender sometime in its LIFE ? The V.I.N is 62J13151 so check it out. This car drives like a champ and sounds good with the straight duel exhaust with Smittys. FACTORY OPTIONS: The Cadillac has a power trunk release in the glove box that's not working from there but should be an easy fix. It has factory front windshield tint, Both fold down arm rests front and back, power wing windows that work great but the chrome on the driver side wing window needs to be re-chromed. I also recommend, a new seal if you replace it. It has an upgraded duel cylinder Brake booster for the power brakes and its got standard power steering it doesn't have A/C ! the power wing windows and vents make up for it and do the trick. The Cadillac is rolling on 15" 3"-poly Allstate white walls with stock wheels and stock black hub caps and comes with a matching spare . So if your interested or may know someone who might be. Just contact me. the Cadillac is located in Portland Oregon 97236 And if you need additional pictures Just let me know? I got tons of pictures !!! So if your looking for a sweet ride to put some air bags on or just want to keep it as is? This car is for you! And If your local? get in contact me and "test drive" this car you wont be disappointed it runs as good as it looks....!!!!

  5. Thank you Sir ! by the way are you going to the portland swap meet? at all at the end of this month ?
  6. Great picture and info, Thanks Keizer! Hey keizer would you happen to have the total production of a 1937 hard top rumble seat coupe production numbers in that book? hwellens: Would this picture help, at all ?
  7. Well, I'm glad you liked it Keizer 31 by the way I re-read your post again and missed something the first time. did you say that only 3 of the 110 were produced? could you shed a little more light on that Thanks
  8. Thanks Guys, Ill I was doing was looking to see if there were any OFFERS on this site? Some people were cool and others weren't and they had to ***** and moan about the car. I love cars as much as a lot of people on this site, I never said it was an original non chopped top car I would of sent as many pictures as possible to anyone that was interested in the car. Yes It had a lot of "butchered" but fixable stuff done back in the 40's "look at the ad people"!!!!!! but just getting on and slamming the car didn't sit well with me. That's fine.... you could say anything you want, you know what I said about opinions. But you want me to just shut up about it ! I don't think so! the only way I'll shut up is if you JUST MOVE ON.... DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ME OR THE CAR AND IF THERE IS "NO" OFFER or COMMENTS then I will shut up too. AND YES, I can go anyplace EBAY Craigslist . I just thought I would try here. REMEMBER: If you weren't going to offer anything or you feel that buying a rumble seat coupe and chopping the top off was easier and cheaper then go out and do it who's stopping you. Simple as that. THIS HAS BEEN FUN THOUGH :DCHEERS!!!
  9. Ass holes, their like opinions everyone's got one thanks for your offer?......... errrrrrrrrr I mean your two cents, with the inflation we got in this country it's sure worth a lot.
  10. Sorry, it was a "true" cabriolet body ! Anyway everyone is entitled to there options this is a great site..... All I'm asking for is if your interested in the car. Just make an offer..... if your not, or if don't like the car , or you think its a piece of sh*&% cool don't offer and go to the next thread. If you've seen it from time to time on ebay, craigslist great and you wanna make an offer then great go ahead...... but "If not" Just Start a new thread or something and tell everyone what you think of this car. All this was, was to put my car out for offers...... If I wanted your opinion I would have asked for it. And started a cappie jack what do you think of this Plymouth thread. Well I guess that's what's its called now!! Thanks
  11. Dont know when you checked ebay? Jack M I had over 3,220 people look at it with over 50 watchers. And 4 different bidders But a car is only worth what someones willing to pay for it. As for it being.... not worth much. The potential is there. There was a guy just the other day on e-bay trying to sell a true 1937 rumble seat plymouth cabriolet with a camaro front clip and chev 350 that wasent running it needed as much work as my 37 to get up and get going and he was asking $17,500 just for the project. and i'm not making that up. He diden't sell it so who knows??? looks like ill be trading this one sooner than later . Thanks
  12. 1937 Plymouth Rumble seat Roadster Taking offers................ HERES THE GIST: Due to some issues...... I'm selling a cool rare vintage plymouth. The Plymouths body and floor are very solid there's a few small holes in the rumble seat pan but all in all a really solid body as good as you can find for a car this age. I was just planning to put a motor and tranny and drive it rough but looks like i'm going to have to pass this on to someone that appreciates the uniqueness of this rare plymouth. It has A TITLE ....But There is NO top, NO motor or transmission the white walls and convertible top cover in a few pictures were for mock up only. They Do Not come with the car. HISTORY and DETAILS: I was told it was an old race car from the 40's-50's, so its got some race car stuff done to it Iooks to me like a two door cut into a roadster with the original front straight axle and frame. Here are a couple of things that make this plymouth a uniquiely one of a kind project...... The driver side door is leaded shut with the front clip leaded together so its a solid one peice from cowl to grill the fenders are free and have been widened 3" from stock. The frame is stock, the windshield pillars have been cut and leaded over. I have a few windshield options that will come with the car, plus a front bench seat and an original spare tire and wheel. The body is channeled 7", so the rear fenders have been bumped up for the suspension travel. I have a few 37 chevy rear fenders that will come with the car if you want? there is a front grill and a few other misc. parts. There is a cut out on the passenger side where i was told they would hang sand bags when racing around the track. All this stuff is workable. Please remember This is a roller project. it can be picked up from Portland, Ore 97216 just taking offers now have been offered trades and $$$$ but things fel through. Had it sold but the guy couldent come up with the money. let me know if we could work something out thanks I have alot more pictures so get back to me !!! What i'm interested in chevy 1963 409 motor's and 1959-1960 cadillac coupes or custom led sleds????
