For anyone looking for a new factory OE clutch for your Maserati TC, we have a few left in stock.
This clutch fits only the 5 speed TC's that came with the Maserati DOHC engine. You can reach us at: www.rdiperformance.comWe also have many other NOS factory parts for the TCs. Here are some of the items we have left:
All parts listed below are new NOS factory original parts unless otherwise specified:
- Headlight (driver side)
- Wheel/Rim center caps with "Pentatrident" factory logo
- "16valve Intercooled" fender medallions
- Window belt moldings/weatherstrips (these are the rubber moldings that run along the top of your doors - the door glass slides against these and these rubber moldings are what keep water and debris out of the inside of your door)
- Factory pull down mechanism for your hard/soft top
- Relays and limit switch for the above
- Upper and Lower radiator hoses (for all three different engines that came in these TC's....SOHC 4 cylinder turbo, DOHC 4 cylinder turbo, and the Mitsubishi V6.)
- Engine mounts - all
- 5 speed transmission (1 new and several good used ones)
- Flywheel
- Shift cables
- Engine gaskets (all)
- Factory radiators for all three engines/years of the TC in stock
- Stainless wheel arch moldings (all are new with the exception of a couple good used ones I have)
- Sensors, switches, etc..
Performance parts:
- High performance ECU - provides a nice increase in both power and torque! We have these available only for the SOHC and DOHC turbo engines. We do not have one available for the V6 engine at this time.
- High Flow air filters
- High Flow (larger) throttle bodies
- Upgraded turbochargers
- Larger injectors
- 3 bar MAP sensor (scaled/matched to the upgraded ECU)

Just a reminder if anyone is in need of spark plug wires for the 16v Maserati TC engine we have them in stock. These wires are a direct fit for the 1989 and 1990 Maserati TC with the 2.2 Liter 16v DOHC turbo engine - with 5 speed manual transmission.
We also carry new spark plug wires for the 8v SOHC turbo engine (found only in 1989 models with the automatic transmission) and the V6 3Liter engine (found in the 1990-1991 models) as well. Other items we carry include: High Performance Engine controllers (boost your TC's performance!) , Valve cover gaskets, cam seals, spark plugs, spark plug tube seals, distributor cap and rotor, water pump, Timing Belt (for all three engines found in the TC), the serpentine belt for the V6 models, and much more. Thanks for the kind words Nile! It's amazing how well your car does at the timed events (Autocross, road courses, etc..). I bet your TC surprises the heck out of a lot of people! Then when you pop the hood and they see that 16v Maserati engine they are probably scratching their heads! Turbocharged, intercooled, 4v per cylinder.....in 1989!? From the factory!? What other 4cylinder production cars had that kind of tech (from the factory) sold in the US in 1989? Not many. Eagle Talon TSi maybe? But they didn't offer those until 1990. In 1989 Mitsubishi and Chrysler only offered the Starion/Conquest TSi (which had a 2.6L Turbo and was not 4v per cylinder).
My advice to anyone with a TC (8v or 16v) is do not try to play with boost unless you have a way to monitor your A/F ratios. The nice thing about the stage II computer is it handles all of that for you. Also, as Andrew pointed out, you really don't want to cap off your BOV because it will cause compressor surge which can wipe out the thrust bearing inside your turbo. The cost of the stage II controller (considering the power gains) is actually super, super affordable. For some of the other cars in my collection to achieve those kinds of gains costs way, way more. The stage II controller is actually a real performance bargain for the performance increase you get! It is however, imperative that you ensure your base ignition timing is set to 12 deg BTDC and you have a good BOV (as Turbo Kane) and others have pointed out.

We offer a high performance engine controller that provides a substantial increase in power for your TC! Unfortunately, we do not have a high performance controller for the V6 powered TC's however, we do have them available for the 2.2 Liter 8v SOHC Turbo/Intercooled (with automatic transmission) powered vehicles....as well as the 16v DOHC Turbo/Intercooled (5 speed manual) cars. You must specify which engine your TC has when ordering as they are two completely different calibrations.
Price depends on whether or not you are wanting to send in your factory controller as a core or not. You may reach me at: rick____at____rdiperformance___dot___com or as I say, visit us online for more info and pictures.
For the V6 powered TC owners, we do offer a nice high flow intake kit which includes a ***larger throttle body and new high flow air filter***. We also have a complete high flow exhaust system available (for all TC's regardless of which engine you have) - specifically made to fit the TC's unique Q platform.

I've got two complete 16v parts cars. I'd prefer to keep the powertrains out of them, but will consider selling them for the right price. May even consider selling one (or both) cars whole.

CWigleyJr: I have a set of hoses for the 3liter v6 however they are used just like the ones currently in your car...so I don't know that they are any better than what you currently have. You can have yours rebuilt locally, or you can send them to me, and I can have them rebuilt for you, but it's not a cheap process.

Kevin: I do not have interior door belt moldings...as they are part of the door panel itself. Exteriors, I do have.

Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've posted. Just a friendly reminder, I have lots of parts available for our Chrysler Maserati TC's - both stock maintenance items as well as performance modifications. As you know, our little TC's came with a choice of three different engines from the factory. The 3 liter V6, the "Turbo II" (8v SOHC turbo/intercooled engine), and the 16v DOHC Turbo/Intercooled Maserati engine.
I was a factory trained tech for Chrysler back in the early 90's and have been specializing in these cars since they came out in 1989.
Here's a quick list of some of the high performance items we carry in stock for the TC:
Performance items - New and/or Remanufactured:
- Stage II Performance engine controller (provide more boost, spark, and fuel) - typically 25-40hp increase over the stock computer
- High flow throttle bodies for the Turbo II, 16v, and 3 liter V6
- Performance air filters (both drop-in factory replacement or cone style filters)
- High performance (stage II) BOV (blow off valve) kit for the 16v DOHC Turbo and for the 8v Turbo. (Note: They are two different kits, so please specify which engine you have when calling or emailing your order)
- Complete, high flow cat back exhaust systems (available with high flow cat, or test pipe), however test pipe is for off-road use only
- New Performance injectors
- Stage II or III turbochargers (for 16v and 8v)
- High flow intercoolers - provide much better heat rejection than the stock unit
- Boost controllers and boost gauges
- Air/Fuel ratio gauges and wide band o2 sensors - best on the market
Maintenance items - New:
- Factory replacement air filters
- Factory replacement fuel filters, fuel hoses, and the proper fuel injection (shielded) clamps
- Radiator hoses upper and lower
- Heater hoses
- Struts and springs (front and rear)
- Factory stock injectors
- Pick up plate (goes inside distributor)
- Distributor cap and rotor
- Plug wire kits and new plugs (again, for all three engines found in our cars)
- Water pumps
- Head gaskets, intake gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, cam seals, oil pan gaskets, etc..
- New timing belt and tensioner (16v engines are notorious for these needing replacement)
- Power steering pumps and high pressure hoses
- Fuel injector wiring harness
- Complete engine bay wiring harnesses (for all three engines)
- ABS accumulators - new
- New rod bearings and ring sets for all three engines
- New pistons - all three engines
Good used parts:
- One set of factory ginger leather seats
- One set of factory black leather seats
- Stainless wheel arch moldings
- side view mirrors
- fenders, hood, doors
- One complete ginger dash - mint
- Factory Floor mats - only have ginger
- Instrument clusters
- ABS parts - controllers, ABS wire harnesses
- Shifters (5 speed only, don't have any automatic shift lever assemblies at this time)
- Transmissions - 5 speed Getrag (have a few in stock, all have been tested and are in excellent condition)
- Crankshafts - 16v and Turbo II (do not have any 3 liter cranks)
- Pistons, rods, etc..

Beautiful TC Andrew! It was awesome hanging out with you at SDAC this year. Paint looks great on the TC and you did an excellent job restoring it and cleaning it up. One of the nicest TC's I've seen. The mileage on yours is nearly identical to one of mine. (same exterior/interior color combo too!). Glad to see you are keeping it so nice.
