  1. If it's 12v and 30amp; it will work. As, long as, the pulley/belt lines up. Good Luck:D
  2. What, about the squirrel ?!?!? What, happened to the squirrel ?!?!?
  3. Hello Sherwood, I saw the pics of your car over at V8Buick. I was convinced then thta you have a 14k mile Buick. And, I like your 14K mile LeMans, too! What a neat pair of cars. Congratulations!
  4. I spotted a 55 4door hard top in amongst those 54s. Nicely done. Good song, good video.
  5. SMS is the best. They made an EXACT match for our 55
  6. I'm pretty sure that's an aftermarket mat. They seem to have tried to make the logo look like Buick crest.
  7. Thanks, I like the color , too. They are repaint of the original Dover white over Colonial Blue. The last picture is from 1980, the color in the photo is off, it's a bit purple in that photo.
  8. There is a 1955 Service Bulletin manual, that has some A/C information.
  9. This was my thinking, too. Somewhere between full and a pint low seems adequate.
  10. The Edsel's main reason for downfall (IMHO) was; Introducing a new model car in a recession. Every car brand was experiencing lower sale numbers. Just, as the Edsel came out. Perhaps, if Edsel had been introduced as, sales were increasing (say 1952?), rather than when, decreasing.... the story might have been different. Something that did come from Edsel, was; The MEL engine. The MEL is, a very fine powerplant. Powering Lincolns up until 1968.
  11. I posted a link to this thread on V8Buick. Hoping, everyone there, will keep an eye open.
  12. Tag receipt. And, Notarized bill of sale. Alabama began issuing titles in 1975. After, the state became a haven for those selling stolen cars from across the country. However, still, no titles are issued for pre-75 cars.
  13. Harrison A/C was through the dash. FrigidAir A/C was trunk mounted. Chevrolet and Pontiac used Harrison. Cadillac and Buick used FrigidAir (prior to 1956) Oldsmobile, used one or the other? Or, both? (I don't know)
  14. In Alabama no titles are issued for cars built before 1975.
  15. At all posting on this thread; Would y'all worry about it being a pint low?
  16. Hello Mr Earl, Dad is doing well. I've taken over the labor of the car. But, it is Dad's car. Yes he is proud of it. We don't get it out as much as, I'ld like to. I'm planning on a cruise in at the local Krispy Kreme this month. That about as much as we show it here lately, a criuise in now and again. Bulldog
  17. AWBE Re: 1955 Buick Dynaflow Transmission Fluid <hr style="" size="1"> Back of the engine there is tube that comes up with a cap to check fluid level. You have a lond pointed nose fennel to put it in there. HAHaHA! I need spel chek. Maybe he understood what we were saying? What's even funnier is that; AWBE is my Dad. I guess he needs spel chek ,to (?)
  18. CARS is what I have on my 55 Roadmaster. It is close (identical?) to the original.
