Is yours a four door hardtop? All '55 fourdoor hard tops are late '55

I've been hearing that about CARS lately. I've ad good luck with CARS. However it's been 12 years since I bought something from CARS> $22 is not a bad bet. But, if they don't work, having to do the work twice would be the real cost.

I've got a leaky reservoir. A search for gaskets led me to this thread. When I rode motorcycles, I made my own gaskets. I'll try my hand on the steering pump. Thanks guys

Resurrection of an old thread; Where could one find a schematic of the 55 Roadmaster's variable sweep wiper ? The '55 Roadmasters are equipped with a variable sweep feature for the wipers. The wiper switch has 2 toggles; On/Off and speed of wipe Varies the angle width of sweep Thanks!!

I'm glad you got that worked out. I just put a battery in mine today. And, closed the hood. Then I thought; "did I just hook that battery backwards?" I quickly raised the hood and ...... I got it right.

The trunk light on mine was missing, too. We put in a mercury switch light from a '66 Lincoln. That was about 40 years ago. It works good.

It's supply and demand. More people want the two door. That drives up the two door's price.

Thanks. The '55 grill was a departure from the grille theme for Buick. When the '55s were introduced, some critics said the new grill was more reminiscent of Oldsmobile.
