  1. Thanks, but I had mine recored already. He did an excelent job, even resolderd the original tags back on.
  2. Thanks for all you help, I’m going to get it recorded, He assured me it has the same amount of cores and would even put my original tags back on.
  3. I need some help, I bought a 1966 Riviera good solid all original car, it’s been setting a while and I could not get it to run cool, kept overheating, decided to pull motor and go through, good thing I did, anyway brought my radiator in to be cleaned out and they said it needed a new core. I like to keep the car all original; it would cost me $285 to have a new core put in. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> Does anyone have a good used radiator out there? <o:p></o:p> I hate to buy an aftermarket radiator, Aluminum core plastic tanks, adapters to make you transmission cooler lines fit, yuck. <o:p></o:p> Our should I just rescore this one? I like to show it later, will I get deducted points for a radiator that’s not original? <o:p></o:p> Any help on this subject would be appreciated.
  4. Can anyone help. I'm trying to find the red orange color paint for my 1966 Buick Riviera 425 engine. Does anyone no where I can find the paint and what brand, number ect. I would also like to find paint information as to the rest of the components, brakets ect . One moe not, I 'm looking for the decal that goes on the air cleaner, not the big round one that says 465 but the small one on the side that says a/c delco aircleaner info.
  5. Thanks for the info guys, I knew I read it somewhere but could not remember, Will look it up and do some price shopping.
  6. Getting ready to pull my motor this winter to detail everything and had heard a little about people switching transmissions to overdrive. Any pro's are con's to this, and what is the transmission of choice? Anybody attempt this. I like the idea of better fuel mileage and running the engine at a lower RPM's while on the highway. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>
  7. Thanks for that info, saved me a lot of time searching to find a mirror that matches, I wonder how funy it would look though with 2 different style mirrors, Think I would get deducted points for it. That is if I could ever get the car done.
  8. Gerry, I am looking forward to seeing the pictures, How fast was their turn around time. here is my e amil address bobvoegele@hotmail.com
  9. I heard their was a place in Texas too, not sure where, also in California, I would just prefer a shop closer, I like to see who I'm dealing with.

  11. Thats a nice mirror, I may have to go that way but I like to find one that matches the remote mirror on the drivers side.
  12. Trying to find a Rt side mirror for my Riviera, I know this was a option back then so it will probably will be a little harder to find, I'm not sure but I thing a skylark in the same year may be the same, If anyone knows where one is or have one for sale or know of any other vehicle that would interchange I would appreciate it. Thanks.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> I really need one, my garage is set up to where I have to back in and it’s a tight space. <o:p> </o:p>
