  1. Just a shot. I'll try to post it here too. Does anyone know if Pontiac used the same front fenders on A, B and C bodies for 1941? Thanks! Tom
  2. Your front brakes take on more stopping load then the rears, so the larger bores should be in the front.
  3. I had the same issue with my 1965 Corvair last month. Check your vacuum advance on your distributor. A dashpot moves the points base plate to advance the spark. My base plate had a loose pivot and wouldn't always return. The timing was all over the place! I installed a rebuilt one from Clark and she has never run better. Also check see if the sock on the fuel pickup in the tank is good. They get blocked up too!
  4. Sorry about that. Posted in the wrong spot. Hello! Does anyone know if the front fenders on 1941 Pontiacs are interchangeable between "A" ,"B" and "C" bodys? I was lucky enough to find an NOS right one and it has an additional dog-leg mount at the top rear just below the windshield. Pics won't upload, can send direct if you need. Thanks!
  5. Jason, Super nice! I'm starting on it's cousin here in NJ. I wish mine was a clean. Can you please send me pics of the right side top of the fender with the hood open? I'm trying to see how the fender fits. Thanks Tom - tcang@yesstandard.com
