  1. This rocker panel fits 1939 1940 Buick Special series, Pontiac 26 & 28 series Oldsmobile 76 & 78 series and Cadillac 61 series cars These panels are made by an Amish sheetmetal worker who uses a panel a panel made by Schofield back in the 1950's as a template. This Schofield rocker was designed as an exact replacement rocker instead of a snap on rocker. The rockers are unique left and right as the outer face gets narrower as it goes from front to back. The ripples that you see in the panel put a bow in the rocker to match the contour of the car which is wider in the middle that it is the front or the back. The rocker is made from metal .036 thick. The price is plus shipping, paypal is available for payment.

  6. Hi Joe, first off I want to thank you for all the time that you spent helping me to get the proper application for this starter. The bolt hole that you asked about is indeed threaded. I can't say that I have everseen a mounting flange that has one through hole and threaded hole
  7. This one has three mounting holes but I do not know the difference between length on a short and long nose starrer
  8. It looks similar but trher is a definite 90 degree corner around the one bolt hole in the starter in your picture that I do not see in mine
  9. Does anybody reconize this AMC starter and know what the applications for it wold be? The numbers stamped on the starter are 321-2235 USA 4BBC
  10. Does anybody recognize this starter and know what years fords it would fit? The starter body is stamped Motor Craft 12V USA 022F-1001-AA 20

  13. I took some pictures of the panel laying on the floor next to a edge formed by the floor tiles to show how much of a bow there is stamped into the one side of the panel while the other edge is basically straight. I can't see in on the top inside of the door with this kind of curvature. The second picture that I added shows that the other side with the slots is straight
  14. 15. Try calling Classic Fabrication at 978-988-8755, they reproduce a lot of Buick trunk pans
  16. Joe, thank you for taking the time to reply, do you think that a fender skirt would be 54 inches long? I have never seen anything quite like that.
  17. I have this pair of NOS Buick parts that I am looking for some help with to identify. I tried the "what is this" forum and all I got back was someone saying that they were running boards for a VW bug. The parts came in a battered Buick parts box, I took some split view pictures showing both sides of the same area of the panels. I have handled NOS Buick rocker panels for cars from the 1940's in the past and I know that they are not rockers, the NOS rockers always had braces and reinforcements welded inside of them. The tiny slots that are stamped into the panels are really confusing, I thought that they were possible for the inside of a door but the longest Buick door skin that I have ever come across was 49 inches wide and the panels are 52.5" to 54" in length. Does anybody recognize these parts?
  18. Thank you for all of that information Hans, I really appreciate it
  19. I think you nailed this one on the head. I looked on the AutoZone website and the picture that they show for a starred for a 1975 Ford 460 CI V8 looks the same as the one I have. I also found these numbers stamped onto the outside of the starter housing. now I just have to figure out the different years that it was used on. Auto lite 12 V USA C9 AF – 11001 – A – OM 14 TAA
  20. Does anybody know what the application for this starter would be?
  21. The measurements are written on blue masking tape in the pictures, one edge measures 52.5 inches and the other end measures 50.5 inches. The parts came in a beat up old Buick parts box so I do not think they fit a VW
  22. Does anybody recognize this pair of NOS Buick panels? I’m guessing they’re possibly some thing for the interior, but they are too long for even a two door. They are not straight all the way as you can see where they change direction and one length is longer than the other length on each panel.
  23. Does anybody recognize this hubcap?
  24. This pair of panels were labeled as fitting 1941 Buick. At first I thought that they were rocker panels but now that I have them I don't think they are. Does anybody know what they would be used for on a 1941 Buick? The panels are 51 1/4 long on one side and 52 1/2 on the other side typical of the way the 1946-48 Buick rockers were formed with the bottom being longer than the top.
