  1. looking for 2 wire wheels, a set of trim rings for same wheels, and some hubcaps for same wheels for a 1983 buick riviera 20th anniversary (they had real wire wheels, see picture)
  2. Here is my 1983 buick riviera 20th anniversary car (project). Interior floors are mostly solid with a few minor areas to repair, literally half the trunk floor is rotted out and just air and the panel the tailights go into is half rotted out. Needs everything. But its coming. What buick used as a "frame" is solid and the rockers are solid. Need to locate hubcaps, trim rings, and 2 wire wheels since 2 of the wheels are bad. Also need a good passenger side door and other stuff, its a slow process.
  3. Is there much available for 67 buick rivieras? Was wondering on the availability of things. I want to buy the car if I can but I don't want to find out not much is available. Rubber seals, grommets, and other parts. The junkyard and auto parts places can help some but won't have the real needed things.
  4. I made a mistake on the year of the other buick riviera I am looking at possibly buying. Turns out it's a '67 and not a '73. Everyone says that it's horribly ugly and that they don't like the way the car looks, oh well.
  5. I am currently in the process of buying my very fist buick. I can't say that the car I'm buying is in nice shape or even runs, but I have wanted it for several years now so I deceided to just get it. The car is a 1983 Buick Riviera 20th Anniversary. It has wire wheels and a fiberglass top with fabric over it. The car appears to be very saveable so I am having it taken straight to a mechanic to fix the brakes and go over the engine and get it runing. I can do alot but I can't do major components like brakes, major engine stuff, etc. Was also thinking about buying a 1973 Riviera.
  6. I am in the process of buying a 1983 buick riviera 20th anniversary. This particular car has long been something I have wanted to own for quite a few years. I don't know anything much about them other than supposedly 502 were built. The ones I have seen are different than the one I am getting. Mine has a fiberglass roof with fabric covering it. this is most likely over the factory steel roof. I presume it is a factory option. Mine also has the wire wheels. I have seen those, just not the roof mine has. It should be interesting. Right now it does not run, but it should. Hopefully I can at least get it running and drive it this year yet.
  7. I am in the process of buying a 1983 buick riviera 20th anniversary model. It has a fabric covered fiberglass top and wire wheels like yours. The car is no where near nice but appears very saveable. Hope I can get it to run and at least enjoy driving it. I'm afraid mine will never look like yours but it should run and drive I hope.
