Hi, I got instructions on how to put new brakes on a 50 dodge coupe. They say the best way is to have a dummy drum or brake shoe-centering gage. I was going to try to do this myself, as no shop here will work on it..Any help or advise will help. Thanks Don

I'm redoing a 50 dodge coupe..The radiator seeps water in about 4 or 5 places..I asked the local radiator shop about fixing it, and he told me there is nothing that can be done for these old honeycomb radiators..What do you guys think..I live in a small town so it is hard to check with other repair shops about this..Is there something that could be poured in to stop these seeps..Thanks

My glass measures 1&5/8" tall 1/8" thick and 2&1/4" round..Also can I ask another ?..I have a 1950 wayfaer coupe, I just got a 1950 cornet 4 door..Both have the d34 engine..One has a wide fan belt, the other has a narrow belt and the water pump has a bypass hose on top..Is this stock or has one been changed in these cars..Thanks for all your help..

I will measure mine and put the size on when I get home from work..$25.00 is crazy for that..I can buy a new fuel pump with the glass for $53.00..I thought it would cost more than that..

I broke the glass bowl on the fuel pump on my 1950 dodge coupe..I can't find one anywhere..Would anyone have one laying around they would sell me, or I guess I will have to buy a new fuel pump.

Hi, can anyone tell me if the hood on a 50 dodge 4 door car is the same as a 50 dodge wayfaer coupe..If so what other years will fit..I need a hood and a guy emailed me 3oo miles from me, and said he had one off of a 4 door..But I need to know if it will fit before I drive that far to get it..Thanks

Oh, I'm sorry..This is a six cylinder in a 1950 car..

I bought a 50 coupe from a guy that said it ran fine when parked in 1966..The first thing I did was pour some oil done each cylinder..I now have good compression in two cylinders..So a guy told me to pour some diesle fuel down them, that did not work either..What would anyone suggest, what might work to loosen the rings..Thanks Don

I have one more question..How do I tell for sure if my car is a 50 for sure..I got it at a old farm place, and the guy thinks it;s a 1950..The body # is 6839TP....The serial # on the door is 37115590..The red tag on the firewall is unreadable..Can anyone help with this..What is the difference between the 50 & the 51? Oh, the # on the engine block is D34-264490 if that helps..Thanks Don

I kept this car from being crushed..Does anyone need any parts cheap, or the whole car..Located in Kansas..Can send pictures..No windows, a few bullet holes, but lots of chrome, engine with a four barrel..No interior, a few dash parts..I just hated to see it get crushed..Don

I have a 54 new yorker station wagon, on the lower right hand side of the dash panel there is an empty hole..The switch is in the far right hole..What pictures I can find of the dash, shows the switch was in the left hole..Could someone tell me what goes in the empty hole. and does the switch go in the right or left hole..Thanks Don:confused:
