  2. History

Back in the early 2000s, when I first began my hobby with Early Ford V8’s, I bought this 1935 Ford Three Window Coupe in 2006. I fully restored, all stocked great running car. I drove it to Big Sur and back a few times with ease. I sold it to a collector in Pennsylvania at that time. Last month I got a call from his estate asking if I wanted to buy it back. Of course I did! With a little tinkering and TLC, I have it back to all its glory.

    Exterior

    ·      The paint was great when I owned it, but it has also received a recent repaint and it is a 10 out of 10

    ·      Brightwork is in excellent condition, original grille, headlights, bumpers, including very rare bumper ears, original handles, horns

    ·      A rumble seat car, with locking handle, working vintage fog lites

    ·      16 inch Kelsey Hayes powder coated rims, radial tires with full tread and trim rings

    Mechanics

    ·      Reliable, super running 24 stud flathead is smooth and strong, the car starts instantly and really moves along with the 3:54 highway gears in the rear end

    ·      Transmission is solid, doesn’t pop out of gear

    ·      All the lights and electrical work, horns, speedo, amp meter, yes the vacuum wiper works.

    ·      Just put in a new battery this week, and there is a hidden battery cut off switch

    ·      Stock brakes work great

  3. In 2006 I sold a 1935 Ford three window coupe to a fellow enthusiast. Yesterday his widow called me and asked if I would like to buy it back, as the gentleman passed away last year. He had also bought a 1935 Ford cabriolet, and she wants me to buy both back, which I am definitely interested in.

I don’t want to hire an official appraiser, just want another fellow enthusiast in the area to put eyes on the cars, just so I know they actually exist. Certainly willing to compensate of course for time and trouble and a little extra however makes sense. My phone number is 831-238-8235 thank you so much in advance

  4. I have a few 1934 Ford Sandoz  car clocks that are pretty rare. I have two that need repair and don’t wanna send them to just anyone. One is the back wind mirror clock, and the other one is the very hard to find glovebox clock. Can anyone suggest an experienced professional that really knows what they’re doing, and won’t keep the items for years on end without working on them etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you, and my phone number just in case is 831-238-8235

  7. Before it was a classic car, this solid 1934 Ford Deluxe Three Window Coupe was the family car.  Driven and well taken care of throughout its life.  Through its history and restoration, it has emerged as a premiere collectible Early Ford V8.

    History
Rarely these old Fords come with any of its past.  This time, we have great information and documentation on the coupe.  The first owner we know of was Wilbur Langham of Antwerp, Ohio who owned a body shop.  In the late ‘60’s, the coupe was sold to Kenneth Casey.  In 1997, Wilbur’s daughter Suzanne bought the car back, as she wanted to add to memories of the car from her High School and college days, when she drove it often.  Note the photo of her with the coupe in October of 1964.  In 2000, she gave it to Mike Belmont, of Belmont Super Service, a restoration shop established in 1933.  You can see the restoration in the attached photos, and she kept it until 2011.  Since then, two more owners, and now to me.

    The Restoration
The Belmont crew took the excellent body off the frame and did a full professional restoration.  Photos show just how great the original sheet metal is, before and after.  All detailed steps were taken to produce an outstanding car, that not only looks fantastic but is also mechanically sound and drives great.

Is it Stock or Hot Rodded?
Keeping its fully stock appearance is a great first step to make the most of the coupe, and by adding the features below, it can easily be mildly hot rodded, and/or put back to stock:
    •    Hydraulic brakes
    •    Dual Exhaust
    •    12 Volt electric
    •    Seat belts
    •    Turn signals
    •    16” rims
    •    24 stud Fathead V8
    •    Discretely mounted Modern Temp and Oil Pressure gauges

    •    Chrome is bright, original grille, headlights, cowl lights, handles, and horns
    •    Excellent doors, hood, trunk all fit properly, greyhound hood ornament, tires with full tread and trim rings

    Mechanics
    •    Reliable, super running 24 stud flathead is smooth and strong, the car starts instantly and really moves along with the 3:54 highway gears in the rear end
    •    Transmission is solid, doesn’t pop out of gear
    •    Electric fuel pump with On/Off switch for priming
