  3. My '30 Hupp "6" also has the rod that sticks up out of the left, front, of the block.....have had no trouble with it sticking.
  4. Definately looks after market...........must fit a deeply grooved fender or door! (So would be model specific.)
  5. Larry, I have done the same.........& the joy it brings to the kid's & parents faces is worth any possible scuffs to my 40 YO paint job. That's why I haven't re-painted yet!

  8. I don't know about the UX-2, but I got tired "nursing" my bad potmetal U-2 and went to the BB-1 & am quite satisfied...........

  10. Doors are totally different on Hupp....squarer & come down all the way to the splash aprons .................
  11. On the Hupp, I believe the headlights are higher (above the radiator) and the filler neck is very tall.............. Dale
  12. Perhap's it's from a small Alco "yard" or "pusher" engine? I have a 1913 Alco car catalogue and there's nothing remotely similar (including logo) to this engine........ By the way, in 1913 Alco bragged they were the most expensive auto in America! Dale

  16. You guy's are correct.........definately a Model 20 Hupp.....note the tall radiator filler neck.....a definative Hupp characteristic.
  17. That's why I bought my wife an '05 yellow, 6 speed convertible ( 32,000 mi.) last summer! Absolutely mint!,,,,,,,,,and cheap! I know.........it's not the '90's.........same principle tho!
