  1. D, do you have any problems with exhaust fumes entering the car with pipes dumping there?
  2. http://www.taperformance.com/products.asp?cat=265 ...has anyone used this system?
  3. Friends don't let friends put RWL tires on Rivs.
  4. I have a set of Supremes that were previously on a Ford, they have multi pattern holes so the fit all the way up to 5 on 5". I need to get lug nuts with shank. Prefer bullets to acorns. So-you guys running Supremes, where do I go?
  5. Go to ROA website. Click on "index of articles". Log on with passwords found in front pages of Riview magazine. Articles will be grouped by subject, i.e. Suspension, cooling, paint, etc.
  6. There is an index of all articles citing volume, issue, and page #. I'm not sure how I found it but you will too.
  7. The yellow car IMO is hideous, and worse in person. Ed, the Firebird idea is one my pal Jay tossed out to me as well and is clean. I do agree with petelempert that if the lights are immediately identifiable it takes away the effect of the customizing. Changing the taillights on these cars is not a task to be undertaken lightly and i would never do it for the sake of change alone. The Caddy treatment is one of the best. There is also a blue 64 with 54 Mercury lights and it looks pretty darn good and natural. I think he's a member here. I saw the car in Indy at Custom Car Revival.
  8. Darren that is a nice treatment, I've seen photos of that car before. I like the placement of the originals but I think the builder of this car accomplished what they need, a little slenderizing.
  9. Lotta dough! Is that the seat bottom pop-up style?
  10. A beauty, Stanford is the best. Are those '50 Pontiac taillights on the drawing?
  11. I love my 63, but always thought the taillights look like an afterthought. Does anyone have photos of custom taillight treatments on 63-64s ? Thanks!
  12. I would try to find a complete assembly from a parts car.
  13. I have a 63 without a bottom rear armrest. Is it "easy" to add one? Or is it something that if not installed at factory is a difficult mod?
  14. The original style is scarce in complete form it seems, and expensive. Has anyone found an electric one for a different application that will work? (BOP, Chev, Caddy etc?) someone told me 69ish Torino but I don't have one handy to compare
  15. I found no listings for KYB. I'm always curious about interchangeability of parts, it's knowledge that can get you on the road when the "correct for your car" part isn't listed or available. Gabriel lists a Riv shock that also fits Studebakers!
