I am having some problems with my ignition switch and I am looking for one or a place to get it restored,rebuilt. Any ideas.

Would any of these cause the oil consumption and oil in the fuel drain.

I have a 1938 super eight and the car has started blowing smoke or burning oil extremely bad. When I turn the car off oil runs out of the carburetor overflow with the gas. I have not taken it apart and just wandered if anyone may know what is causing this and what I need to repair David Edge 9102581166

I recently acquired a 1922 Franklin and after getting it to running it has a problem, if I try to give it full throttle it spits and sputters no matter if it is setting or going down the highway. I have tried cleaning the points, adjusted the timing, carb mixture, I was told to set the plug gap to 31,000, cleaned the carb best of my ability, tried different plugs and nothing seems to help. When I got it there was a straight pipe from the tank to the carburetor and it did it so I connected the vacuum tank which works well after a new gasket and a little cleaning and proper connecting . Still no better. It has a Dodge Brothers Stewart Carb on it could it not be giving enough gas. any suggestions?<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

It is not running rich or lean I can adjust the mixture and it does not help. The vacuum tank is working well, I have tried to eliminate any obstruction in the lines. It runs well if you do not push it up to about 40 mph, if you try for more it starts to spit and sputter. It has a Dodge carb with stewart carburetor on it. I wonder if it is not giving enough fuel for the HP?

I just acquired this vehicle and I am looking for anyone that may help me in finding a battery box, fenders and the emergency brake assembly is missing I need info on how it looked to replace it. David 910 258 1166
