  1. I have the CD that is a repo of the 14 /33 parts book and it says as follows DD up to engine #30414 and after 35711 DE,DF,DG,DH up to engine# DH4186 DG,DL,DK,DO. Part #78439 DH after engine #DH4186 DIafter Engine DH 4186 DJ Part # 320430 I hope this information is of help to you Cheers Ron

  2. It is amazing what one finds inside the engine cooling system. When I took the side plate off my 2249 engine I had a family of mice living in there as well as lots of rust scale that settles on the bottom of the block. There are no short cuts when it comes to repairing. Do it once and do it right and then you can have many years of happy motoring Cheers Ron

Anthony My 2249 has Black Guards And Royal Blue Upper There was a Pinstripe in the centre of the swages on the body and also on the wheelsThe color of the pinstripe was most probadly a cream The second body that I got was Black with grey upper with the swages in black and a pinstripe also I can photograph it and email to you if required Ron

Thanks Dave for posting the guideon the engines I wasn't disputing what you guys were saying its just that I have never seen a 2249 motor with any other prefix other than an S This forum is a great learning curve for all of us I know that I for one has found it very helpfull One day I will learn how to send pics and then I can share my DB2249 with you all Thank you Ron

  5. From information that I have the Senior 6 Line of cars had a chassis # beginning with IS and the engines with an S prefix No where have I seen a Senior engine with an IS prefix If you have one Robert could you post a picture so I can file it for future reference Cheers Ron
