Need help balancing wheels since I can't find any bubble balancers anymore. I remember somebody telling me how to balance them on the car, but it got lost. Do you add washers on the inside of the brake drum under the nuts to balance the wheel? Also I have a stud that is short and can I go to the local hardware for anther stud? Also I noticed that the other wheel has all new studs with star washers under the nuts. All help is greatly appreciated.

How to balance with or without brake drums installed? Also method used to balance wheels, floor bubble type or spinning type? I don't seem to have anyone that can do them. Can brake drums be removed and balanced with floor bubble machines? I noticed one wheel had all new nuts on the inner side of the drum and the other drum had five thick washers installed in various positions. Help needed! Car shakes at about 40 mph. Checked alignment seems OK. 🤕
I removed the wheels and took them to a tire shop with a old bubble balancer after I removed the brake drums but they could not set them on the machine the man told me. I live in western PA but I never tried to spin balance the wheels.
Looking for some way to secure winglet mirrors to the windshield brackets. Brackets were sent out to be chromed by my restoration company and they were returned to me with no rubber material left on to secure the mirrors. Also some appear to be uneven halves to attach them. Thanks
I have a front end shimmy at about 40 mph. Several years prior I could do 50 mph with no shimmy. I planned on checking my front end alignment but got sent to the hospital for a couple months. I've tried crystals in my tubes with no luck .
Seems like I can't get into the tube no matter what I try. Wonder if I could use a liquid tire sealer and balancer I used on my motorcycle wheels? I tried removing the valve core and using air with a piece of wire moving the wheel around but nothing
worked. Looking for another option. Thanks

Good News,
The oil temperature regulator is soldered, reinstalled and leak checked and working again. Thanks for all the advise, but I always try harder, just my nature I guess.

Thanks for the help. If I wanted to bypass the regulator would I remove the lines and cap the lines off at the block. I might give it one more try with some special aircraft solder I guess I would make a line that would run between the lower fittings on the block.
Thanks again,
Denny
