  1. oops, forgot to post the link. It's not mine, but I thought I'd post it here so someone could jump on it and save it. This link has lots of pictures and contact info. If I had the $$, it would be in my garage now http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?65833-Chrysler-TC-16valve
  2. Sounds like MiamiTvr wants the best of the best Maserati but has "no interest" in paying what a mint one is worth and couldn't be bothered buying one with a little rust or one that was smoked in, or tor pay for "costly" shipping.... Could that be why he's been looking for one since 9/18/2007??? Somethings very shifty here, seller beware.........
  3. I would like to know what kind of car this is if anyone can help. I would think that it was the car of a wealthy man because this photo was taken in the country of upstate New York where most of the residents are farmers and small sole propietorship business owners. Although it looks like a painting, it must be one of those pictures where they enhanced a black and white photo slide with color paints. The road and church are still existing and being used regularly as seen in the second photo....
  4. I found a 1960 Lincoln convertible in a junkyard in Denver. Just thought I'd let anyone know who's interested. The car is missing the interior, top, engine, hood, trunk lid, wheels. It's pretty well stripped, but still has the body, doors, grille, and misc pieces that may be near impossible to find!!!!!!!
  5. Sorry, to answer everybody's pm's I'm going to take better pictures and post them asap...
  6. I was told that the vin number is stamped on the block above the transmission on the 1989's, does anyone know exactly where it might be? I want to see if it matches the dashboard vin....
  7. I have 3 tan seats, one middle console and a tan convertible top with frame for sale in Denver Colorado if anyone's interested. The top material has two small rips on each side, the seats are somewhat worn but not shredded (one seat is good for parts), and the console is in good condition (there is no armrest). This is all my girlfriends stuff, she's selling everything for $100, local pickup only. We put new seats and top on her Cabernet, and these are the old parts.. Sorry for the el-shitzo pictures, my Ferrari looks like it's on top of the seats, but it's not even touching anything.....
  8. They bolt out/ in, no need to repair it....
  9. If anyone's interested, I have some parts for sale that I took off of mine when I put better ones on. The parts are complete, just a little beat up; I hate to throw them out when maybe someone can use them. They are: 1) Tan middle console for auto trans, nice condition 2) Tan leather armrest, worn, but no holes 3) tan convertible top and frame, top part has a 3" rip on both sides at rear, frame is great 4) 3 tan leather seats, all are worn but not shredded. I'll get pictures up if anyone's interested. They're all located in Denver Colorado. Name a reasonable price if interested.
  10. I don't think that nobody wanted to buy your TC, for me it was a matter of not having the $$$!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Great answer, Lee_M, that makes alot of sense. I'm just asking for my girlfriend, for her '89 TC. She also has an '08 GMC Envoy and is afraid to drive the TC daily because she says that the cost of using premium gas would be too expensive compared to using the Envoy..I was thinking that the TC would get better mileage using regular instead of premium. I'll have to dust off the calculator and do some calculations...... Thanks for the info....
  12. I agree, I have a cheapo "Budge" car cover for my indoor cars, and they work excellent. When I need to store one or two outdoors (and also depending on how long they need to be stored outdoors), I usually put cheap indoor cover on first, then an expensive outdoor cover, then I tie brown plastic work tarps over the top of everything (to prevent water infiltration through the "breatheable" cover, and also to prevent whipping wind that can cause the cover to scuff the paint)...
  13. Hmmm, I think there's a big misconception going on here, there are lots of variables to take into consideration when buying a cover, and some covers are far superior to others in that respect. The variables are: whether the car is being stored indoors or outdoors, where geographically the car is located in the U.S., sun, high winds, cat claws, thieves, rain, snow (and snow loads), nosey looky-loos, local law ordinances, time-intensive cover install/removal, bird poo, dust, splash-up from adjacent water puddles, etc. Before buying a cover, I always do research, and find the cover that works best in certain situations, regardless of the cost.
  14. I have an 89 TC and don't have the owners manual with me, does anyone know which fuel is best to use? If I remember, the manual said to use premuim fuel, but would regular cheap unleaded do any damage to the engine? Gas is getting just too expensive these days, and I'd like to use regular unleaded if it won't mess up the engine...
  15. Hi Bob, could you, by chance emaile me the instructions? Mine broke too.
  16. Ya, that's what it looks like. I don't know much about them but thought it was a pretty cool car that someone may be interested in.
  17. Well i went back there this weekend, the front seats are now gone and some dummies pulled the engine and threw it on the ground. The transmission is still in the car...
  18. I agree, thanks for the info; I always cringe when something goes wrong with my tc because ANY repair at the garage will most likely cost more than I paid for the whole car, so I try to fix everything myself, with the help of this TC forum
  19. Hi, Thanks for the info; so in other words, you ran a new ground wire?
  20. Sorry, i don't know the name of the yard. I'll see if I can get the name of it when I go back there this weekend..
