  1. The number of the block is D 984 - - 22. Top,rear, left side of block
  2. I have not started it, due to not having a manifold gasket to put the manifold back on and ther coil is missing. It is clean and hand cranks over nicely Or are you asking if I have the starter and if so , yes the starter is with the engine, other than manifold gasket and coil missing this is a complete engine and transmission I will make someone a great deal if they come and buy all the parts as a package deal
  3. hey dwollan, if i find the wooden wheels, will they fit on the spindles on the front and on the rear axle or do I have to change spindles and rear end?
  4. These parts are from a 1927 DB 124 I have a set of 5 solid metal wheels with 6 1/2 bolt pattern in good shape, spare tire and wheel rack with the brass DB badge, complete rear end and drive shaft from the 27 with fast four and 6 1/2 bolt pattern, engine and transmission ( fast four,3 speed) 9998 original miles. The engine turns over but i am missing the coil, intake/exhaust gasket, the fan will need repaired( it is a bit wobbly, im guessing it needs new bearings) the starter has a crack in the back plate but i think i have another one to fix it i just cant find it at this time. Engine has good compresion when hand cranking it over, and i have the front axle from the 27 with the 6 1/2 bolt pattern for the solid wheels. If anybody is intersted in any of this ,let me know and we will see what we can do. I am looking for front hubs so I can run wood spoke wheels on my 27<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  6. I have 5 21 inch solid wheels in good shape with 6 1/2 bolt pattern and tires on them.the tires were bought new along time ago and was never drivn so they are dry rotting a bit.plus i have the spare tire rack with the brass DB emblem in the center. These are off of my 1927 124 with 9998 original miles. Ive sent trans am parts to ausie and havnt had any problem with shipping.. If you still need some wheels, let me know and we will see what we can do.
  7. I had no idea the coil was mounted under dash. I checked and couldnt find it under dash. I think I will try one of my 50s era coils and see what happens. While I was under the dash I noticed someone has rewired it with newer wire. I am going to replace the wires before i try to start it. It is a pet peev of mine. If it appears that somebody was done anytype of hacking or replacing wire I will rewire it my self to make sure it is ok. I learned from a bad experiance on a 54 chevy truck not to trust any hacking job on electical components
  8. My engine is a 27 fast four and the coil is missing. I have a few 6 volt coils for my 50 dodge and 52 plymouth, can one of them be used and do they look the same as the original for a 27 dodge? I am getting ready to remove the starter and generator to clean and repaint. Are they to be painted with a gloss or flat black? Would anyone have a pic of the coil and how and where it is mounted?
  9. My email is coreyvett77@msn.com. Thank you very much.
  10. Here are some pics of the rear seat area, engine, and dash. There is only one rust spot on the floor of the rear seat area. should be a easy fix but I just bought a 90 amp wire welder and I wont to practice welding sheet metal before I repare it.
  11. dwollan I will be in the garage tomarrow and can take pics and post them. Are there anyother areas you would like me to take pics of ?
  12. I have the fast four, so would that mean that mine is a 124 ?
  13. I dint have a sonnet but I did have a 66 saab 96. We removed the 3 cylinder 2 stroke engine and replaced it with a 69 sonnet 4 stroke v4. man that car was fun. We put straight pipe dule exhaust on it. It sounded like a lawn mower on steroids. Sold it year before last and ive been trying to buy it back ever since. you guys will enjoy it, im sure. If nothing else, you will enjoy working on it together. Believe it or not, they are not real hard to find parts for. your best bet will be ebay.
