  2. My name is Brett and I own a small custom machine shop near Lancaster, PA. Currently I am in the process of machining a camshaft timing sprocket/gear for a 1931, model 54 Studebaker. I have the old and worn gear in-hand. I measured the O.D. to be 5.730", however, I suspect the measurement is inaccurate. My question is: Can anybody give me the originally designed outside diameter of the gear? Your time and effort would be appreciated. Brett Davis Standard Machine Co. 717-669-7109
