SIR, I RESTORED 42 BUSINESS COUPE THAT HAD ORIGINAL PAINT ON THE WATER PUMP IT WAS RED CLOSEST I COULD FIND IS A RED THERE IS EVIDENCE THAT LATE 41AND 42 6CYL'S WERE RED NOT SILVER I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THIS AND FOUND A LISTING WHERE SOME 41'S AND ALL 42 'S WERE RED THE COMPANY I GOT MY PAINT FROM WAS SOLD AND NO LONGER IN BUSINESS BUT THERE IS A RED ORANGE CHEVY V/8 COLOR SOLD AT LOCAL PARTS STORES SUCH AS ADVANCE OR AUTO ZONE IT IS A BIT TOO ORANGE BUT WILL WORK

i have a 42 c34 chrysler royal business cpe i'm restoring and need help with the trans i can't get reverse i need someone to call and discuss the trans i don't know if there is a linkage missing the parts and service manual don't show a picture of the hydraulically controlled trans linkage i can get high and low but no reverse 814-827-1782

i have contacted you on the color of my c-34 chrysler spitfire engine was told by everyone that it was silver with black accessories i had found red paint on the head i have an 84 year old friend that his father had a 41 spitfire engine and he said it was red head and block with black accessories he remembers it because it was his job to keep the egnine clean can anyone verify this thanks grainman
