  1. The Rickenbacker's with rear spares had full length running boards, some had painted radiator shells. It appears there were several option levels.
  2. British cars need Panel Bangers. Any chance on getting getting one of the students or the instructor ?
  3. This is about a 1925, "The Flying Ace of the Highway"
  4. I tried looking up SA6 and only Soviet surface to air missile launcher came up. It would be fun to have one and I would not care if the horn did not work. Welcome to the Form
  5. I'll help you out, the seats look like 1966 / 67 Mustang.
  6. I agree it is a Model B or G axle. The car may be titled as a 28 if it was sold during the 1928 model year.
  7. The blue car was repainted the original colors. This is an auction photo and I don't know how doctored the photo was was or how well they matched the colors. They may have gone slightly brighter for higher bids. Mexican Turquoise was used by Chrysler from the first year along with Moonstone Blue ( almost black ) on many cars. For 1928 they came out with brighter colors Sarasota Blue maybe was one of them. For those who would like to look at the old colors at the Auto Color Library website, click on older vehicles, coaches & carriages then the IM or intermix to bring up the color chips. The colors are not perfect but will give you an idea.
  8. Welcome Most of the cars and trucks I have worked on the wires would run on the inside of the frame rail. Chevy guys may know. You may want to post your question in the " technical " section.
  9. The blues that were used from what I could find was Mexican Turquoise (lighter blue) with Sarasota Blue, the light yellow was Cigarette with black fenders and bead.
  10. Looks good and I like the tools you are using. I am still working on getting all 4 doors to fit, repairing repairs one at a time.
  11. There were a lot of mid year production changes in the early years. Theses photos were stolen from an old post ( 55331), might be tough to make.
  12. I believe everything on the bottom side were also black. The body colors can be found on the color library site ( autocolorlibrary.com ). Look up 1928 Chrysler and look at the IM number ( inter mix number ) They had all the IM color chips scanned in and are great folks to work with.
  13. You may want to change your tread title to radio repair instead of sawdust, you will get more responses.
  14. Lifted in the front, solid axle this would be considered a "Gaser" or maybe a "Tail Drag-er".
  15. Satin black for the frame, radiator, headlight bar and tail light bracket. Fenders are black ($10 extra for body color). Engine block is black with a silver or red head. The body colors had standard colors depending on the different Model and body styles.
  16. The spray can of red oxide primmer is missing the spray nozzle also.
  17. I am putting lights up in my new shop. I have nine out of the forty (9/40). Two weeks I hope to have at least 20 installed.
  18. I had a 1930 A sedan delivery with only a right side spare.
