  1. If it is still available I too would be interested in hearing from the seller.
  2. I have an old Buick and the clock has stopped working. I'd like to have it converted to an updated quartz movement but I'm having problems finding a vendor who can work on this clock; anyone out there know of someone who can do a conversion on mine?
  3. No need to be a smartass. I said I was looking for an era correct tissue dispenser not one that's 12 years older than my car.
  4. Thanks Rich I appreciate the compliment.
  5. That is gorgeous. Is it still available?
  6. Yah Dave if you could send pics I would appreciate it. You can email them to gerstjeff@hotmail.com Thanks
  7. I'm selling my 1951 Buick Special. The car is in very good to excellent condition. I've been working on restoring it for the past three years. It has no rust and runs great. All of the followingt items have been replaced or upgraded: All new body mount rubber pads, new oil pan gasket, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt generator, new torque ball seals, new engine rear main seal, rebuilt brakes, new speedometer cable, new electronic ignition, new alignment, new springs all around, new shocks all around, new upper pivot pins, replacement gas tank, new door sill plates, all new interior including the trunk and new paint on the dash, the radio has been converted to AM/FM without changing the original stock appearance. Everything on the car works fineand the engine and undercarriage are very clean and detailed. The car gets alot of looks every where I take it. This is your chance to own a piece of American history. All fluids have recently been replaced with synthetic including transmission and differential. Asking $11,500. I would consider the car to be a 20 footer. The paint is certainly not perfect and will it would need a repaint to make the car a true show car but to have fun with, put in local parades or take to local car shows, it looks fine. Of course this is just my opinion but I've owned alot of classic cars and this one is truly unique and looks very nice. I get more compliments on this car than I did on my 1965 Impala SS and it was mint. <!-- End Description --><!-- End Description -->
  8. Anyone have any idea where I can purchase a tissue dispenser for my 51 Buick?
  9. I want to thank everyone who replied to my thread. I took your advice and purchased a set of replacement front shocks from Five Points in Santa Ana CA. Mathew was great. He walked me through the process and I was able to install the shocks myself. I won't try to kid you by saying it was quite a project, but it's done. FIve Points is definitely the way to go and he's cheaper than Kanter, Cars Inc, etc.
  10. I know this is an old ad but do you still have these tires? Are they radials? 14" or 15"
  11. Has anyone replaced a rear seal on a 51-53 Buick manual tranny? I understand it's a rope seal; are there other optional materials that will last longer?
  12. No I don't have a shop manual and I would really appreciate it if you could post the required pages. I can't thank you enough
