The 2024 Eastern Divisional Tour in Fredericksburg is shaping up to be a great tour! One small alteration is necessary. The hotel we were going to use will not be finished by our tour date. Fear not! We have found a new host hotel and as soon as the paperwork is signed Registration will open! The tour is limited to 50 cars so do not delay too long. I have a 1982 Buick Riviera convertible that has the Cardone 52-7212 brake booster. It is leaking. Is there another one anywhere out there???

Any car up to 1999 that meets AACA judging standards. Basically no street rods or modified cars.

The itinerary is posted above. The registration form will be ready shortly after the new year when prices are firmed up. We will be touring back roads...the longest day is to the Air and Space Museum, about 140 miles round trip. Other days are much shorter.

If memory serves me it was orange and black.

back in the 1980s in SE Pennsylvania, there were two successful businessmen who would show magnificent classics at local car shows in Lancaster, Lebanon and Berks counties. Dick Boeshore owned 5 Duesenbergs and a Duesenberg II. I vividly remember him leaving a local show in a Rollston convertible sedan. The car had a cutout on the exhaust and the roar of that engine as it raced up the hill outside of town was amazing! Also, Carlos Leffler had a Mercedes 540K that was reportedly Eva Braun's. Does anyone know what happened to these classics???

Guided tours of the Fredericksburg Battlefield and Chatham Manor, Washington's boyhood home, Ferry Farm, the Air and Space Museum, Stratford Hall, Menokin, and the National Museum of the Marine Corps. I plan on attending the Glidden Tour this year but due to a hectic schedule I will not be able to bring my trusty 1941 Studebaker Commander this year. If I may hitch a ride for a day in another automobile I would be eternally grateful. See you Down the Road! Charlie Steffy

I managed to break the trunk handle i on my 1941 Commander while on the AACA Sentimental Tour. I need a new one for the Glidden Tour! Does anyone have one?

Wayne, you are all set for the Sentimental Tour. We have room for 100 cars and we are not close to that number yet.

Our tours are not in Gettysburg except for the last day. And it is a brand new museum that just had a soft opening last weekend. I was at the ROI meet in Gettysburg! You will see new things on this Sentimental Tour.

You have a great car for both Sentimental and Glidden tours! If you go on the main portion of the AACA website you can find the registration form for the Sentimental Tour. Our host hotel is the Wyndham in Gettysburg. Each day will take us to fun and interesting stops in PA and MD. Back roads and no interstates. Great for old cars. If you decide to do both tours, because they are so close together time wise and destination, I have put together a fun stop and lunch each day. No early starts, no long drives. We will be staying in Lancaster County and that Saturday we will make one last stop at the American Treasure Tour, have lunch and motor over to Princeton for the Glidden Tour. I do hope you make it. And for those of you with prewar cars who are also planning on the Glidden Tour, we have a first ever In Between Tour with interesting and fun stops as we work our way from Gettysburg to Lancaster to Princeton. The In Between Tour will be short days. Very casual. Great food. A Wine and Cheese Evening at the Laundromat because why should necessary chores be boring? Learn some history, see some amazing places and really enjoy motoring in a prewar car!

Mark your calenders...the 2022 Sentemental Tour is on! September 10-16. Gettysburg PA. Hosted by the Buzzard's Breath Touring Region. Yes, we have been to Gettysburg many times. No, we will not be seeing the same old places. Yes, we will be at the Wyndham Hotel. No, we are not going to tour the Gettysburg Battlefield. Yes we are going to see some incredible sites you probably have never seen before. No, you do not have to polish the monuments on the battlefield. We did that on the Founder's Tour in 2017. Yes, the dates are shifted a little for this tour. We begin touring on Sunday September 11 and our closing banquet is Thursday Septmber 15. No, by all means you do NOT want to miss this tour!

Question regarding removing the speedometer on my 1919 H 45. After fixing the swivel and mounting down at the RF wheel, the third time out something kinked and I heard a SPROING! and the drum stopped turning. How much twisting and turning and contorting does it take to get the speedometer out of the dash?
