Where are you located? I do not have any samples of the wood. I have collected a few pictures. I basically want to be able to put the top up and down, This is not a restoration more of a home built. My biggest concern is the front header bow. I have a set of hold downs and a new set of irons. If you can give me a ballpark estimate it would help. I've been laid off for Covid since March but I want to get this top done.

I am looking for roadster top wood patterns or useable pieces for my 28 series 72. I do not have any wood to make patterns from. I understand some patterns were available from the Chrysler Museum but they said they no longer have that service. I've been looking for several years. Any recommendation of who has made or can make my bows will be appreciated. The picture attached is the type of hold down my top uses. The wood is not mine.

Did anyone ever come up with patterns or a maker for a 28 Chrysler 72 roadster? I have a new set of irons but none of the wood for patterns.

I have a 28 Chrysler roadster that came with a perfect set of top irons but no wood pieces. I need at the least a header bow for the top of the windshield. Other bows would be nice too but the header is the most important. Does anyone have a set of plans they can share or know of someone that has made one? I've had no luck locally. Thanks.

I have a friend restoring a 34 Plymouth PF convertible coupe. There appears to have been some sort of panel under the area where the top folds down just behind the seat. Do any of you have a picture of this piece? Its been chopped out and we have no idea how it looked. Also at the rear of the door bottom opening their appears to have been a structure of some type welded on the floor pan. Also cut out and missing. Any help appreciated.

Is Snyders the model A and T store or is there another for Chryslers? I need the bows for a 1928 Chrysler 72 roadster. I have the top irons but no bows for patterns. A pattern would be great!

Does anyone have a source for the rubber pads that the Chrysler 70 uses? They encase the spring ends in rubber. Steele has some but are very pricey. Thanks Chuck

I'm looking for a passenger side taillight stand for my roadster. I have two of the drivers side and could trade or? I want to run taillights on both sides. I believe the aftermarket did something long ago but? The stand from an export model, to England or Australia for example, would be perfect. Thanks, Chuck in New Hampshire

I'm looking for some hood latches for my 28 Chrysler 72 roadster. I have two with brass tops but one is broken. I'd like to find 3 more with brass tops or a proper set of 4. Thanks

Thanks for the response. I was underneath the other day and noticed most of the body bolts were already loose. They were replaced with regluar bolts with no lock washer. I'm glad to know the body only needs lifted. I'm redoing the front fenders, hood ledge and aprons. Didn't really want to pull the body off yet. Chuck

I'm trying to remove the fender aprons off of my roadster. Do the body mount bolts go through the aprons? Do I have to pull the body mount bolts out or just loosen them. Thanks, Chuck

Is there a plate rivited on the firewall or someplace? A lot of people did not know about the Id numbers on the dash plaque. Its possible they assigned the VIN for registration purposes. I would think the DMV could figure it out by the numbers and registration history. You probably want to straighten that out before you buy otherwise later registration could be a serious problem. Chuck

Beautiful cars! My Model 72 was a street rod when I bought it so I'm doing sort of a resto rod deal on it. Want to keep the body appearance basicly stock. Do any of you have spare top hold downs for the Model 72? Or do you know what years will fit? I have the top irons but cannot locate any hold downs.

Do you have any detailed pictures of the top hold down brackets? I have some repro's but have no wood and no idea how they mounted. Also did you by any chance make patterns of measurements of the wood top bows? I have a stainless repro set of irons and a cast set of hold downs but no luck on the wood for many years. Thanks. Chuck
