  1. Question is "which diameter": washer or hole in the washer ?. Please check the picture - there is only one possibility of the order of the washers and that is limited by the diameter of the hole in the washer. Smaller washer has bigger hole, while bigger washer has smaller hole. Therefore bigger washer can not go as first, as it is fitting only the threaded part of the rod. My only question is regarding dished side of the smaller washer - I think I will install it dished side to the bushing (rubber) - like you wrote "concave side away from nut". Man - how I was not able to find that sentence in the manual ? I will check again - thank you :-)
  2. Have you seen the bushing that contacts the washer ? I mean the bushing that is at the top of the picture - from CARS.
  3. I am going to install it as A on the attached picture - that makes more sense to me ...
  4. Not too much, that's why I was putting the question ;-). I will try to google for it, but maybe someone here has experience ?

  9. Got one from CARS ([SB616-4], http://www.oldbuickparts.com/cart/stabilizer-bar-bushing-1963-66-buick-riv-p-1397.html) These are approx. 0.713 inch (18.2 mm). Way too small for me - pity that CARS is not listing the size ....
  10. I see, these are different, but that is a complete set for a car.... Thanks !
  11. Guys, what is the total required amount of pairs of these rear control arms bushings per car ? 2 pairs are required for rear lower L&R control arms, 1 pair for rear upper arm (that upper link between axle and frame) In CAARS catalog it is stated 4 pairs are required. Where the 4th is going to ?
  12. Thanks RivNut ! I will follow your advice regarding the bushings. I was also thinking to replace the bar with a solid one, but later as actually I prefer to spend the $$$ to have a progress in the resto works, rather to make upgrades, especially that later replacement of the bar & bushing is not a hard job to be done. Yes, I am a customer of CARS and TAPERFORMANCE. Thank you again.
  13. Krister, I have the same situation... Did you get those bushings from OPGI ? Have you any new info ?
  14. Indeed googling for "Load Leveler shocks" brings some results ... Thanks for the tip, Pat !
  15. OK, thanks for the explanation. Nice feature ! But was it available at Riviera 65 ? I was trying to google for the codes visible at the pictures, but no luck !
  16. Anybody knows what type of shocks are these ? Removed from Riv 65

  19. Looking for the bolts for the upper front swing arm for the GN. I get a set from http://www.ebay.com/usr/motorcitymusclecar, but they are not correct (diameter of the bolts rod is smaller) .... Any advice where to get a correct ones ?
  20. He (Tom Green, gtom2902@gmail.com) wrote to me as well: Hi George, We're currently dismantling a complete abandoned 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon 4dr with an original rear bumper and all four doors in excellent shape and condition, ready to mount on. I'm asking $1000 for the rear bumper and all four doors and happy to arrange delivery via UPS or FedEx in 3 - 7 working days delivery and would acknowledge payment via Money Gram or Bank wire. What's your complete shipping address? Many thanks again and regards, Tom He has sent me the picture of the car. I ask why it is on German plates and if really he will part out such a nice looking car: We're parting it out and all of the required parts will be taken off it. Of course, it has a German plate and it was among 6 abandoned projects we purchased in 4 months from Europe. I am in Davison, MI 48423 and happy to deliver parts within the USA. Let me know if we have a deal. Many thanks again and regards, Tom I am 99% sure it is a lie.
  21. Hello Glenn thank you for the information (somehow I did not get notification about your reply and I saw it just now - I must check the settings in my profile...). What I've found out is that car was assembled in Switzerland, Europe, so it makes the car even more interesting :-) Thanks again
