[Disc front brake conversion on my 1964 Riviera]

I have just finished the disc brake conversion on my 64 Riv.

If any members need pictures and info. on doing a conversion I would be glad to send pictures and directions to do so. Minor mods needed.

I have installed new Master cyl., booster and proportioning valve.

Front barke conversion by Scarebird. and complete new brake lines.

All works Great.

I had done the same conversion on my 57 Olds.

For the Riv. parts needed to purchase are as follows. I have all part numbers for NAPA--Wagner.

Scarebird backing plates, bolts etc.

I had purchased all these parts at NAPA.

Rotors=95-99 GM 1/2 ton 2WD front

Calipers=71-76 Cadillac Deville front

Hoses= 77 Riviera front.

Inner Bearings= 71-76 Riviera

Outer Bearings= 71-76 Riviera

Wheel seal =77 Riviera front

Dust cap=71-76 Riviera

Banjo bolt=71-76 Riviera

[Dim Brake Light '64 Riviera]

I had bought a pair of 1157 LED bulbs thinking they would be much brighter. I am guessing there were about 12 red led bulbs on this unit. installed one on the left tail light, and left a regular clear 1157 on the right. I see no difference in brightness, so I am using the reg. OEM 1157 bulbs.

[57 olds duel master cylinder change over.]

Can someone please inform me as to what duel master cylinder I can use to replace the single stock cylinder. I plan to keep the original hydraulic system,

but would like to change to a duel system.

I have checked most suppliers with no luck.

The orig. cyl. mounts with 2 ears under the stock one.

[1957 Olds. trim below tailights]

Wanted, rear trim below tailight's and above backup lights from 57 Super 88 or 98 Olds.

I think the mentioned rear seal is leaking. Can anyone tell me what a normal cost is to replace, and what all is involved to do so.

Help---I need a copy of the 1957 Oldsmobile accessory brochure that was available when ordering a new 57 olds. It pictured all available accessory's

including skirt's and continental kits.
