Hi I'm new here at the Model A Forum recently coming over from the Buick Forum. I recently had a 1950 Buick Special that I sold and was able to purchase the vehicle I've always wanted, a 1930 Ford Model A pickup. I've attached some pictures and hope this forum is as good as the Buick one, as there's some great people on here Scott
  5. It is with some sadness that I watched my 1950 Buick being loaded onto a transporter to be trucked down to North Carolina where it will be in the care of very nice 77 year old man who is a big Buick fan. I wanted to take a moment and say I could not have done the things I did with my Buick without the help and support of the people on this forum. There are so many great people here and such a wealth of knowledge it is incredible. Everyone here is always willing to lend a hand to help solve a problem or share a great piece of information and I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you all very much for your help and friendship over the past few years. You guys are the greatest! I'll stop by from time to time, but am buying a 1930 Model A Ford pickup and probably won't be on the Buick boards much anymore. Thanks again guys you are good people.
  6. The car is heading to North Carolina where it will be owned by a very nice 77 year old gentleman whose first car was a '50 Buick. Going to a good home and I'm very happy about that!

  11. Testing the waters found another vehicle and am considering selling my Buick. It's a 1950 Buick Special Model 41D. I've invested well over $13,000 in it and am open to offers. Specifics on the vehicle, 63,000 miles, new paint, wiring harness, brakes, carpeting, radio just refurbished by Alan Kris, too many new parts to list. The car has the straight eight 248 engine with the Dynaflow, and optional directional signals for that year. I can be reached at 413.822.0348 See the pictures in the classified section.

  14. I had the radio in my 1950 repaired by Alan Kriss. Great job, reasonable and very knowledgeable. You'll find a lot of positive things about him on this board. I would suggest contacting him.
