I am considering buying a 6 cylinder engine, Powerglide transmission, and miscellaneous small parts in Hemet, CA 92544 and need help w/ freight/shipping to Savannah, GA 31411
Seller has an engine hoist and can possibly get the stuff to a freight facility. Do not have confidence he can properly crate it. Open to any suggestions.

I have 458 general automotive magazines in 6 titles that I have saved from subscriptions over the years. They are in very good condition, and boxed in copy paper boxes.
I am looking to liquidate the whole lot in a bulk sale. They are located in Savannah, GA. Price $250 obo does not include freight.

I'm not locked into $900, just put that out there as a starting point.
Bottom line is that I would like to see these stay in circulation for the enjoyment of other car guys.
There are 21 copy paper boxes which I think will fit in my Tahoe, and I can meet someone half way within reasonable distance, if I can get something to cover trip costs, etc. I looked into commercial freight, and it doesn't appear to be feasible.
Most of the issues are in continuous sets, and I'm not inclined to break those up.
And really don't have time to sell individually or small groups.

265 ci engine and cast iron Powerglide. Price reduced to $64,500

Beautiful car. Great driver. Frame off restored approximately 10 years ago prior to purchase by the previous owner (1/1/2004 NC Title date).
At that time the drive train was replaced w/ a 350 crate motor and a 700R4 automatic. The 265 ci engine (casting 3720991, stamp pad 0608980 F56FG), cast iron Powerglide, and drive shaft that came out of the car are included in this sale. Since the first of the year I have driven the car on a trip of 125 miles each way and experienced no oil consumption, overheating, hot starting issues, etc. The car drove great, and got more “thumbs up” than I could keep up with! Car starts easily and idles smoothly - it is running in all the pictures of the exterior of the car in this add!<o:p></o>

The car has the correct gauges, and all work (except the clock). It has an aftermarket FM/Cassette radio connected to a power antenna that goes up when the radio is turned on. It has a new 15” repro steering wheel for greater ease getting in and out. The 17” wheel that was on the car when I bought it goes with it. <o:p></o>

In the past 6 months the car has received a new radiator, battery, brakes, trans seal, plugs, plug wires, & distributor cap. Tires are Coker 2 ¼” WWW radials w/ good tread. Ready to cruise in style this spring!
