There is a casting number on the bottom 2F, on the end is stamped a T within a circle and an R. That is all I could find
but it didn't seem to help much.
Thanks

It very well could be and I had a similar thought, unfortunately the fellow who did this conversion is no longer with us.
Thanks

Can anyone help me figure out what this master cylinder is. It came off a vintage car that had hydraulic brakes added about 1995.
It measures 4" from the front the the back of the mounting flange. note the mounting is also vertical and it is a 1" bore, the outlet is at about a 30 degree angle
Thanks

Our kids were not allowed to drive an automatic until they had mastered a manual transmission. I also taught them how to recover
from a slide. This was taught in a pickup truck, the reward was being able to drive our XKE

Al, as you can see it has a lot of miles on it the advantage is you can paint the wheel, really lay on the paint, and leave it, it basically turns into a big run until it dries.
Yes I can only do one at a time, usually paint them in the morning then just spin all day to set up. Have done everything from 29" wood to Buffalo wire wheels, its set up now to do clear coat on a Telecaster I just built.
I know it looks messy, the cleaning lady hasn't been in lately!

At the tender age of 14 my mentor Bob Garlock took me to a Swigart Museum meet about 40 miles away, we left home at 6 driving his 1909 IHC. I think of several times I looked down and saw rabbits passing us, once even a turtle. what a great trip. When we arrived Carl Amsley was there already in his Stanley having driven it over 60 miles . As we pulled in Carl said" Boy, you ready for a ride in a real car?" As we took off in that Stanley, my life changed forever.

I use an old ironing machine, attached to the drive roller is bar stock with various holes. This way the hubs can be installed and tightened on wood wheels and no issues
after painting and installing them. Same principle with wire wheels. I've using the same machine for many years

I find it interesting no one mentioned Rigid. I bought my first battery powered drill 15/16 years ago. Rigid offers a life time
guarantee, yes I have used it and they have replaced the batteries more than once at no charge. I do a lot of body building
with ash and there tools hold up. I wouldn't buy anything else. My Australian friend likes to remind me that all my other tools
came from Noah after he built the ark, they still work great.

said he wanted me to have the car so it would get finish. Sterling was a true gentleman of our hobby.
